The difference between the pathetic sack numbers of last year, and the very good sack numbers this year is Albert soaking up blockers.

Haynesworth has certainly not been a bust. Yes, he is out of shape and needs to change now, but Haynesworth (when in the game) has been a disruptive force and is making all of the other linemen that much better. Last season we had 24 sacks all year, through 6 games this year we already have 15 and tonight we've added 3 more.
and we would have more sacks if teams actually had to throw against us. however, since we are losing in every game... there are alot less drop backs to pass... thus less opportunities.

Cowboys 7- Redskins 6 (All we needed was 2 minutes of the 60)
Cowboys 17 - Redskins 0 (Way to NOT show up for the 100th anniversary)
----- TWO EASY -----

What makes you think that? Less yards than we normally get? Less points? More TOs? What was better?
It doesn't show on the stat sheet, he's just doing smarter things. More screens, bootlegs.
Plus, we had Moss wide open for a sure td but JC more some unfathomable reason looked off after pump faking that way and missed him. We also had Thomas open for a td on the 4th down fumble, not Sherm's fault that Rabach can't properly snap a football. That's something a high schooler knows how to do properly.

Well, I'm guessing that you already know what I think of you opinion. just glad to know that you can see the error of you ways.BeeGee wrote:For the money he makes, he's not doing much more than "Biscuit" Griffin did, in my opinion. I know he automatically draws the double, but he was a much more impactful player in Tennessee. (oh wow, fumble)Champsturf wrote:Of course I disagree. Just having him on the field makes everyone around him better. He wasn't brought here for sacks...he was brought here to make the entire LINE better, which he has.BeeGee wrote:That's because he has been a bust. Do you disagree? Did you NOT see the stat about Vandenbosch and now Carter and sacks?
I'll admit it. It's probably premature to call him a bust right now. I shouldn't have said that. I expected a lot more from him though. I guess I can't really throw the money out there because Snyder overpays everybody.
You'll always be remembered Sean. R.I.P.
