I don't mind it. Having any "nickname" for the OL is a positive thing because I think that will result in more cohesiveness of that unit...which is exactly what Buge's is goin' for.

As long as the players like it!

They seem to like the idea of having a name that says, "We will take every opportunity to smash you in the face!" The redskins line last year wasn't allowed to be aggressive, so now they relish the opportunity, and the name just helps to get that feeling across.

Jake: I said I didn't "mind" it.....not that I "liked" it. If I had a choice, I wouldn't use it...because there are much better options out there.

We shouldn't go with Hogs II because, if you hear what Gibbs is saying, he doesn't want to relish in the past...he wants to focus on the future.

I agree with chaddukes in that it really depends on what "the players" think about it. If they love the name...and can rally around it, then it doesn't matter one bit what we, the fans, think of it.

Perhaps someone here should come up with a list of names and start a new "poll"?

I think they could have come up with a better name but if dirtbags makes the line a better unit I'm all for it

I dont mind,It gives them this bluecollar toughness, something the redskins havent for a long time..Maybe it will grow on us..People im sure said the same about the hogs at one time.First thing is they have to do is prove theirselves..
