Play's you'd like to see work tonight.

Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

Play's you'd like to see work tonight.

Post by frankcal20 »

We all know the last play any of us want to see is the dreaded stretch run play or a 3 yard pass on 3rd and 4 - uggg.

I wanted to see if any of us could nail the one play that could lift us up - IF IT WORKS!!!!

I am going to vote on two -

1. Seam Route pass to Chris Cooley - where has this been?????
2. Any running play right up the middle.

Sad to say though is that the most important play will be the one play we run right after an effective long play. What are your hopes, etc.

Are we even going to get one of those????

The play I would like to see is a 30 yard (in the air) pass from JC that is within 5 yards of his receiver......
RIP Sean Taylor. You will be missed.

A knee on the ground by JC in the last minute of the game !!!

Not gonna happen though ....

RiC, I can see it happening. It's not like our O-Line will improve enough to prevent a sack at the end of the game.

oh my! and that's the way it is .....

I'm not sure what we can get done offensively - they obviously have seen what we have been trying to do and will hopefully be surprised when the team suddenly comes to life on Monday Night Football .... hopefully

I just hope we have some success and are not too embarrassing to watch - it is bad enough that we have looked so bad offensively but to have the last week be handled the way it has and then for it to be on Monday Night Football for the whole NFL world to witness with all the hoopla of the pre-game analysis, is just very unfortunate for Redskins' fans
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Four TD plays. Don't care who or how.
Bruce has the authority. When Bruce makes the decision, it's a Redskins decision.

I'd like to see Campbell / Collins connect on a long bomb to one of our young receivers. It's time for that play to start working.

Yea its getting old. It seems like all the other young receivers in the division are making plays on the ball. Friggin Mario Manningham looks like Chris Carter going after jump balls. I never saw that one coming. Kelly looks drunk going after jump balls so far this year.

just some crisp passes into gaps across the middle. thomas and kelly should be using their size to get YAC on quick slants and post runs. maybe even one (and i think one is asking a lot) bomb to moss.

yea i'd like to see moss okie-doke samuels, who is aggressive as hell, and get deep. However, the Eagles put emphasis on Moss, usually bracket him. Another receiver needs to step up.

Is there anyone else that would like to see a double TE formation a few times tonight?

I don't necessarily care about what plays, but it would be a dream come true to see 20+ points scored in a game by the Redskins. I don't care if the defense scores three tds, suishy hits 7 FGs, etc. I don't care. I just want 20 points.

True. Good calls by both posters.

I can understand that the QB isn't going to hit on every deep ball thrown. But there is something wrong that we never seem to hit that pass. They should make JC spend the rest of the afternoon throwing that ball today! :)

Any play that ends in a Redskins player in the Eagles' end zone. I don't care if its 3 fake field goals.

I would like to see an effective slant, skinny post and some deep comebacks, but too bad, we need a line that can hold strong...

Any play that ends with McNabb flat on his back.
Since Chris Samuels, on the first day of the draft:
O-Line: 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
D-Line: 0
WR: 4
