So Sad...Ronald Reagan passes away

He was a great President. I personally think he was one of the best Presidents this country has had. Some of you know that I'm a democrat. And might be thinking why I'm calling President Reagan a great President. I'm calling him one because he was one. I might be a democrat but I'm also an American. I can see things from both points of view and I can see that President Reagan was a great President.

One quote of his that I won't forget was when he was at Berlin. And he said, "Mr Gorbachev tear down that wall!"

Out of all of his speeches that has to be my favorite one.

Man... that is sad. He was President when I was born. He did a lot of good things for this and other countries. At least he doesn't have to suffer through Alzheimers anymore.

RIP Mr. Reagan.

What a great man, what a great President. Top 3, no doubt.

Rest in peace, and thank you for bearing the "glorious burden" that it is to be this great nation's leader. We will never forget you.

Oh man! How could I forget? I know, I know... I was VERY young when Reagan said this but I've seen the video clip a million times.

"Where's Ricky Sanders?"

That was my favorite quote from Reagan. One reason is because he was talking about one of my 4 favorite players of all time and another reason is because it pertained to the Redskins.

For those of you who don't know... that quote was from Reagan when the Redskins visited the White House after winning Super Bowl XXII. Reagan was standing at the podium and had a football in his hands. He said that awesome quote and BAM! here comes Ricky out of nowhere to catch the great lob from the Pres.

We will all miss Ronald W.Reagan he was a great President. He stood up to the Russians when they were loading up Europe with ICBMs and really sent them to the poor house sure it cost the US a lot of $$$ to do that but he did it for our security.. growing up we all worried about war with the USSR but Reagan stood toe to toe with them, now there is no USSR and we are the only super power left. I was in Germany when the wall came down and the Germans knew who was responsible for that. Back here at home during that time was great too look at whet the Hoyas, Skins were doing when RR was in the WH....even the Wizards/Bullets were respectable back then. Reagan was a real sports fan and a great man he will be truly missed

Did you or anybody else watch NFL Total Access last night? At the end of the show they played the film (where that picture is from) at the White House with Reagan and the Redskins. It was awesome. Seeing two men I admire on the same stage celebrating the Redskins(Reagan and Gibbs) was one of the coolest things I ever saw.

After the film they showed the empty stage of Total Access with just Reagan's pictures as a moment of silence. I'm going to miss him. Reagan is truly a great man.

He was a great man and president. I think He also was the president who started the custom of bringing championship teams to the White House.
