Honestly, CLL, I'm not sure we need pass-rush help. I think we're fine and dandy there, particularly with this group of LB's we have now. (I said the same thing last year. Don't mind me. I'm an idiot.) What we need is somebody to stop the run up the gut, and force that guy to go outside and bump into #56. I forget his name. :)

Adams is a Bill. Warren Sapp and Ted Washington are Raiders.

Is there a chance the Bills might cut Adams? There has to be some reason his name keeps coming up...

I agree with you TC, but Im looking moreso towards constant pressure without the help of our LB core. Thats what Im aiming towards. I'd be satisfied going into this season with our current roster. I believe we'd do pretty well with our newfound worth ethic and discipline. But if someone came across our plate that is young and could make a big impact then I'd be all for it. Really unless something big happens, I say lets just try to draft a DE next year, and use the rest of our picks for quality depth.

You're right. I mixed him up with Washington. He IS a Bill. Anyway, that's what I think we could use up the middle. Thanks, Spurrier.
Everyone else in the league is with Norv now. :)

I would actually be in favor of signing Gildon and switching to a 3-4, but we are too far along in the process for that to happen this season...

That is actually a good point. I've read where Williams occasionally uses the 3-4 along with many other formations. We actually wouldn't need Gildon to take advantage of it.

How about Washington and LA on the outside...Barrow and K-Mitch in the middle? :-k

I'm sure the way Coach Gibbs analyzes every possible scenario that he and GW have it covered. I love the fact that we have 'versatile' coaches that can adjust on the fly.

I've been looking through the various PRo and Fantasy Football magazines coming out now...you know the ones that Grade the teams unit by unit. The two that I have seen graded the skins line at a C and C-. Our line is the weakest unit on our team, but it's only slightly below average around the league. That is a testament to just how good the rest of our team is. When you look at some of the situation on other teams you realize that our D-line is far from the worst in the league. I'm not saying we shouldn't try to upgrade it, but I am saying that we shouldn't be grapsing at straws to pick up other teams cast offs. Use the Draft next year to rebuild that unit. We already know what the "no name" D-line is capable of producing. I'm not usre why everyone is trying the same method this year? LEave well enough alone to be coached up by our now awesome coaching staff.

If we sign anyone, I would like to seee us add depth to the interios O-line. We don't have many guys with expereince to shore up the interior if Dockery or Thomas goes down.
