LOL I found a staple in my fruit parfait

Post by Chris Luva Luva »

I bought 2 fruit parfaits from mcdonalds yesterday and saved one for work today. I'm enjoying this delicious $1 treat when I bite into what I thought was a hard piece of granola... It was a staple. What do I do? Should I complain? How does a staple make it's way into a parfait?

1. Throw the staple away.
2. Forget about it.

Didn't you know that fruit parfaits are a staple of any healthy diet.

LMAO. I called corporate and reported it. They're going to contact the owner, I felt like that was the right thing to do. Someone may have been doing it purposefully and I'd hate for a child to swallow one by mistake.

Hopefully they'll give me free burgers for a year. =)

Yea, they'll give you free burgers. Free loogey burgers.

This was the right thing to do, Chris.

Just expect the same treatment as the person who sued them because their coffee was too hot.

Agreed, someone should have been told. A quick call/email should suffice to give a heads up to mgt. If I was managing I would appreciate being notified.
People may not remember exactly what you did
or what you said....
