First NFL game ever this week!

Post by Leadbelly »

So I am attending my first NFL game ever this week in Charlotte to watch my beloved Skins against the Panthers. Being 33 some would say that I'm a little late catching the bus but growing up in Alaska makes it very difficult to see profootball in person. Aynways anyone that is attenting the game from here is welcome to get in contact with me I have a ton of friends in Charlotte (all Panther fans of course) and we will be tailgating and partying from Sat on.

Leadbelly, enjoy the weekend!
People may not remember exactly what you did
or what you said....

~BUT~
they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.

don't feel so bad man, I'm 30 and have only seen the Skins once in person and that was at Giants Stadium.
Bruce has the authority. When Bruce makes the decision, it's a Redskins decision.

39 here and have only seen them once live as well...in Cleveland a few years back...and a loss to boot! I hope the outcome in Charlotte is much better for you than it was for me in Cleveland. Have a blast either way!

Carolina has a really nice stadium. You are probably going to feel really comfortable there too b/c I expect there to be a lot of Redskins fans. Most of us from NC pulled for the Skins b/c we never had a team. Some decided to switch (My Dad - boooo) but I along with a lot of people have stayed loyal.

My biggest advice since it's your first to make sure you manage your alcohol intake. It would really suck if you blacked out, got kicked out or were not even allowed in. Enjoy the tailgating experience responsibly and It will make one hell of an experience.

Don't think I'm going to make it out for a game this year. Going to be in DC on Nov 7th weekend and we are in Atl. With our first baby on the way, unless we are pending for the playoffs, I may go to SD but that's it.

It did but I had kick butt seats!! and got heckled by some loser the whole game for me wearing a Ramsey jersey. I was a tad bit drunk by the end of that mess though.

I hope you have a great time. There is nothing that can match the feeling you get the first time you walk through the stadium and the field opens up in front of you.

And hopefully, you'll be rewarded with a win. ;)
