Redskins 'fired up' at today's practice

Post by BossHog »

Redskins fired up in spirited practice

Running back Chad Morton said the players were surprised to be in full pads for the practice.

“We decided to make the most of it,” he said. “Randy Thomas and Jon Jansen were out there wrestling at one point. Then Jon said to me, ‘When you score, spike the ball and I’ll pick you up.’ We were doing all that extra stuff just to get excited.

“It picked the practice up, believe it or not. Guys saw that and said, ‘If Randy and Jon are fired up, I might as well be fired up, too.’ So it got the whole thing off to a good start.

Yeah Yeah,

Norv's teams used to get fired up at practice too, and we know his legacy.

Talk is cheap - show it in the game please!! I relate it to tennis (again) - a lot of tennis players look great when warming up, but when you say "these are good" that's when the cream rises to the top. The Skins have a great opportunity to rise to "this" occation on Nov. 2nd and let's all pray to the football god they do.

We've been like sumo wrestlers waiting to chug beers and slam pizzas but instead get fed one once of rice and still stay happy.

I like the news but I gotta say I'm tired of just being happy with 'fired up' practices.

God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.
