Warner a Giant

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

he was a product of the system... and the talent he had around him didn't hurt either.... I say bring him on! The guy has trouble holding onto a ball if the wind blows to hard..... ;)

This is gonna get shipped off to Around The League. My post will go with it.
The Giants didn't just sign Kurt Warner. They signed his wife, too. I can't wait until the first time she goes mouthing off to the New York media about how poor Kurtie isn't getting any playing time, or how mean Coach Coughlin isn't respecting the quarterback Warner used to be by laying out the red carpet.
Oh, man. The laughs will be a'plenty this year in New York.

Kurt Kittner gets screwed again. He was cut just a few weeks after the G-Men picked him up. Which was immediately after he was cut 1 or 2 days after the Bengals signed him in May (or April).

Mmm ... Giants @ Philly week one. I love the smell of brittle QB in the morning.

I'll be more than happy to face Kurt Warner twice this season. I totally agree with BringThePain. The guy was overrated and happened to be in the right place with a super talented team.

I do think that Kurt Warner is a talented QB and he is young enough to still have something left, but....and this is a big but....He seems to have become gun shy. Last year it didn't seem like he could get the ball off in time. Like he had either become paralyzed with fear or he somehow lost all of his mobility and awareness. I do think that his fumble problems probably had something to do with his thumb. That shouldn't be as much of an issue now that he has been sitting on his butt for several months.

I think Warner has the talent to be effective in the right system, like was mentioned earlier, but with the Giants woeful O-line I doubt he will do well there. If he couldn't avoid the sack behind St. Louis O-Line...if he was scared behind the St. Louis O-line...wait til he gets to New York.
