If that is a distraction to Zorn or to any of the players then Zorn needs to be a man and politely ask Cruise to scatter until after the game.
In any case I don't think it is that big of a deal. If they weren't ready to play before today then their approach all week was bad.
Next we'll be saying the cheerleaders are a distraction and they need to go.

Why do I think at least one person adds that to their signature today.

A lot of this is. He is the one who picked these players. He is the one who picked the coach.
He had some reasoning behind the decision to pick the players he did. THey usually flash and show good ability to catch Danny's eye. I mean, he doesn't intentionally pick guys who suck, it's always guys who have proven something or someone who on paper looked good. It is not his fault that they get here and start sucking overnight. Maybe he should've looked a lot closer at the players sure, but to blame this all on him is just not right. Players still need to suit up and play, I think this is as much the player's fault as it is Danny's. Now on the Coaches, well that's all on Danny. I'm not saying the FO is great, but they are trying. It's like seeing your teenager go thru life mucking everything up, eventually (you hope) that he gets it right. We can pick our players but we can not pick our team owners.
#21 (36) This IS and will always be the High watermark where all new DB's are measured.

That was a great piece.
Excellent points in the self-delusion about the talent level on their team.
"They refuse to define themselves by the final scoreboard but, instead, cling to their own private view of themselves and their far higher value"
It doesn't matter the amount of talent a team has, but at the end of the game it is what the score board says that matters.
Really Santana Moss, the Skins are the better team than the Lions? You may want to reevaluate that comment.
Or Zorn's decision to not make two conventional calls in the first quarter.
"In the first quarter, most coaches go by percentages, not prophecy."

Of course he doesn't. But maybe he should finally just accept that fact that he's NOT GOOD AT IT.
Dan Snyder is great at alot of things. He clearly loves the Redskins, and nobody can fault him for not spending money on the team. If he ever gets somebody to manage the football side of the team as well as the marketing side is managed, it will be an amazing team.
