With Noble, Griffin and Salave'a we're already better than we've been in years. I think Holsey has potential - and he's wearing a Super Bowl Ring. Phillip Daniels is a good DE and Wynn needs to step up and become a factor.
I hope Greg Williams can get a ton of production out of this group. I think we'll be diciplined enough to get the job done.

I think Taylor Jacobs will be one of the biggest surprises this year but as a relative unknown I doubt that he will bring much in return at this point.

When I think about the D-linemen we have let go and compare them to what we currently have I feel sick.

This D-Line is average at best. Cornelius Griffin has looked good in the past because he was lined up next to Strahan. I was never impressed with Noble when he was healthy with Dallas, he's ok nothing spectacular. Upshaw's best days are behind him. Phillip Daniels is adequate.
All of these guys will be blown off the line in short yardage. This problem did not get addressed this off-season and will continue to be a problem when facing the huge O-lines of the Eagles and Cowpukes.

Wow...
This is probably the best synopsis I've seen of my own feelings about this yet.
Nice work, Scooter.

"We'll be very cautious," vice president Vinny Cerrato told The Post. "We're not going to jump into it like we did in the other free agency." After passing on former Giant DE Kenny Holmes, 25-year-old Packers DE Jamal Reynolds, the No. 10 overall pick in 2001, may become available and have more of an upside. "You can't fill all your holes because of the cap," Cerrato added. "Every team has a weakness."

I'm all about trying to support our current players but.....I'd have take the 02 combination of Big Daddy and Gardner over these guys. Griffin is a stud and will prove it. Does anyone know if Nic Clemons, Ron Warner, or Greg White have any potential?
It would be good if we could prevent having Lavar line up at end. Too much pounding + just having him roaming free is enough to keep opposing offensive coordinaters up late at night.
