That's not obvious in the least. In fact, the reverse seems more true: he's played well for D.C. as a backup.
Collins was a suitable fill in for JC in Al's offense but in Zorn's version of the WCO Todd is at best a back up.
I agree with this. . .but that's kind of my point. You can't call a role player garbage. The point of having a #2 QB on the roster is not to have a second starter in the ranks. The point is, 'if our #1 guy goes down with injury, do we have a competent game-manager to stick in the game who won't make mistakes and can make plays from time to time?'
Collins is that guy. RedskinsFreak has seen Collins play something like 20 snaps since Al Saunders left town, and all of the sudden he's an expert and Collins has completely changed into a nothing-QB? Please. . .
I actually think Campbell will have a good year and surprise most here on the board.
I certainly hope so, 1nik. It would make the difference between another mediocre season and. . .well, if Campbell gets in a groove. . .the sky's the limit.
Can I vote "yes" again? What a disappointing way to open his make or break season. Mediocre interrupted by spells of sucking. Though on the other hand it was a nice observation being two yards past the LOS to notice he was about to miss on a chance to throw an INT.
This is not good. And his coach apparently didn't think so either since he passed on any chance to put the ball in his hands with the game on the line.
The Giants are running up and down the field on us, the D is worn, we have it on the three yard line. How bad do we need a couple of first downs? Three runs. Don't trust you, JC, could that message be any more clear?
Hail to the Redskins!

While I voted "yes" and I agree that Campbell did not have anywhere close to the game we (or he) would have liked - the best thing for this franchise and for the team is for he and Zorn to get things together.
The next 7 games could not only see us with a 5-3 or 6-2 mark but also could go a long way to building some confidence to hopefully help this team get through the next 8 games
For the last 2 seasons (actually after opening day of 2007) I have had serious doubts about Campbell, but the fact is he's here and IMO he still gives us the best chance to win - the mistakes can be corrected - we need this guy to be as good as he can be
I voted "yes" but I hope we have Campbell back again next year as the ramifications of him not being here are not good at all - this team needs Campbell to execute better and for Zorn to better utilize the players he has on offense or we are going to see wholesale changes here again - that is a huge shame
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
I think this will be Campbell's last year and Zorn's last year. I would much rather see Colt behind center right now. We have to just face it, as long as Dan Snyder runs this team we are doomed to fail.

My kind of guy! Welcome to the board!
Let me tell you a little secret:
You are supposed to wait until the end of another mediocre season to be able to say that around here.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Frankly, I'm geting sick of seeing almost every other QB in the league make at least one play, rookies included. Campbell is a bum and is going to cost Zorn his job.

Imagine, fans of a team being biased in their favor and optimistic they'll win even if facts don't always support that. What kind of definition of "fan" is that? You're right, RiC, that is whacked!!!!
Then again, constant negativity is no more intellectually accurate and a whole lot less fun. Personally I have no problem being an idiot and thinking we'll win every week. It's a lot more fun for me that way.

And yet you're way behind RiC. We suck, we're stupid, we'll lose, that's his mantra. So if you're just a little, that puts RiC way carried away and ahead of yourself. I believe he's had it copyrighted, have you paid him his royalties?

kills me how everyone wants brennan on the field. Did you see how he performed in the preseason against guys that aren't even on an nfl team right now?

It's mind boggling, isn't it? Skins fans have always been big on the 3rd string QB, but the Colt worship is the most bizarre in my almost 3 decades of following them. It's just not based on anything.

This is the most dishonest post I have ever seen you make. Still putting lies and words in other people's mouths Kazoo.
But then again, it probably can get worse. I bet your are capable of cheaper shots and building bigger lies than this one. What else is there to expect? Crap? Yes, it can get worse.

On the negativity, try reading your posts, or maybe just your sig. And yes, you've covered that you KNOW we KNOW you're right on everything RiC, so anyone questioning your views is CLEARLY telling a lie.

WHEW! I was worried there for a second.
I'm glad I could put your mind at ease. I actually said it regarding picking the Skins, but while you think you're being "twisted" by taking the statement out of context, the statement is still true. I say and post what I think. I either am or am not an idiot. I don't worry about it. If I am in fact an idiot, I don't feel any better if no one knows it. Most people are too swayed in their statements and views by general opinion.

I appreciate the award, but I'm the most negative poster? Um, sure Jock. I'm on here every week saying we'll lose.
okay, I've exagerated a little - you are not the most negative poster, but you are on most everybody's case a lot - although some seem to deserve it a lot too
I will agree with your statement that you are who you are and we all know what to expect
