I understand that but it was only 1 game of a 16 game schedule and from what I have heard reported from the pre season games and what I saw during the game on Sunday - this Seahawks team has a lot of issues - they do play in the NFC West but I do not see them amounting to very much at all - both Arizona and the 49ers will own them, however, they might be better than the Rams
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
Let's face it - the players and coaches do not look at other teams and consider them anything but another NFL team that they might have to play against at some time or another - Players and coaches do not consider other players or coaches as anything good or bad - the fans have all the hatred and bad feelings for the opposition not the players or the coaches
The TV never shows these guys all praying together and getting together after or before the games - that would not be good for the fans to see and realize that most of these guys are friends and they happen to be employed by different bosses that most of them don't really care about
our team this week and every week will be focused on their jobs not on whether the other team is good, bad or even "lowly"

Last I checked, the skins didn't get shut out 28-0.
An L is an L. Yes, the Rams are awful, and the 'skins should walk all over them, but ask yourself this: When is the last time you really saw the 'skins really dominate an opponent? I'm talking about the kind of game that's over by the middle of the 4th quarter, and the coach starts thinking about sending in the 2nd stringers. This team manages to let other teams hang around, and that's not the sign of a good team. The 'skins need to crush the Rams, and they need to do it by halftime. It's the kind of game where they need to set a tone.

Bruce has the authority. When Bruce makes the decision, it's a Redskins decision.

Try telling that to George Allen.

Exactly. It's been over a season ago, and it was against a team that's known to lay down when they fall behind. Last season, after the lowly Rams came here and beat us in our house, they only had one other win - guess who it was against? DALLAS! By 20 points! For one game, they dominated an opponent, entering the half up 24-7 and finishing the game ahead 34-14. How come even the lowly Rams did that last year, but the 'skins have to win squeaker after squeaker?
ANY team can beat ANY other team on ANY given Sunday.
I do not take ANY game for granted. Every victory must be earned. I do not feel that theRams are "lowly" even as a joke. In fact, I would gladly take Bulger as a franchise QB instead of "you know who".
Yes, Jason, I hope you are reading this and show me how wrong I am. Show me.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

I understand - but that was a long time before any of these players were born - try getting the players of today to buy into that stuff

Terrible.
It's not just one game. It's last season, and seasons before that. I'm tired of seeing our defense go out there and play well enough to win, or dominate, and our offense NEVER shows up. They better show up on Sunday because if they don't this could be a long season.
