Interesting Stat from the WAS-NYG Game

Post by markshark84 »

JC's QB Rating: 93.6

Eli Manning's QB Rating: 93.5

Would anyone say that JC had a better game than Eli? I guess that says something about QB Ratings....
RIP Sean Taylor. You will be missed.

I would say that neither QB lit it up. I think that NY's running game was more effective than our's was and also they had better field position than we did. That made the game.

I love your signature. Get another team if you want to scream DOOM after the first game.

His sig is "HAIL!"...wake up.
Also, I'm screaming "doom" after one game, just as I did before preseaon and during. Take those glasses off or quit the drugs, whichever applies.

I was actually watching the game and while neither QB "lit it up", Eli, as much as I think he's awful, looked soooo much better than Campbell. Campbell needs to go, soon.

Drugs .... right. I'm the one who is reading his signature correctly - "Unacceptable. Get me Shannahan." It's game one - 1. If you are 100% off the wagon, start your own thread saying that you are officially saying that this team will be terrible and you are on to next year. All based off of one year and the preseason. Until then, blowing smoke and freaking out for little reason.

Call me crazy but I have faith in these guys. As I've posted elsewhere, I thin that the Giants just took advantage of a FEW plays and that made the difference in the game. I think the play selection could have been better but not the reason we lost. As a team, we did not execute well and both of our lines got beat.

No his sig is not that...that was part of his post.

I won't call you anything, as I'm not allowed per site rules. Let's just say that I would call you a lot worse than crazy. Let's just say that Hellen Keller can see what most of us can see, but you seem blind to.

I admit that I did not see the signature. Big f'in deal. Eitherway, I do not agree with HIS POST THEN. I do not see a doom and gloom point this season. I could care less about your opinion. Feel free to always disregard my posts since your attitude is pretty pathetic.

What we saw today looked discouraging like what we saw at the end of last year and for much of the pre-season. I am certainly not giving up on the team but would like to see something other than losses. I lived thorugh that will Billy Barnes, Eddie LaBaron and Dickie James.

I too would love to see a turn around with our team. I think that there is a lot of pressure that is given by our fanbase to our QB. I think that the pressure should be spread out to everyone because it was very clear that the team did not EXECUTE today. I don't think that anyone did what the needed to do to win the game except the special teams - which I was very concerned with in the preseason. But the offense and defense have a lot of room for improvement.

I see where your going with this but we need a gut check in a BAD bad way. We would love to see JC17 get some accuracy, but hey he is the QB, he touches the ball on offense every time, pressure to perform HAS to start with him.
#21 (36) This IS and will always be the High watermark where all new DB's are measured.

..... and with the rest of the offense. You have to understand that a QB can not perform if the RB does not do his job (i'm not say that CP did not). The QB can not perform if the WR is not in the right spot on the field (looked that way on a few plays today). And the QB can not do that if the line is not giving him adequate time to make the play (most of the time he had that today).

I think that it's game 1. The team did O.K. but they did not do well enough to win. We were playing on the road - thank GOD. If we go 3 and 3 in our division, that's pretty good and we should expect to lose on the road if we are going to lose in our division. It's game 1, we have a game 2-16. These guys have to get their act together and make some plays. Plain and Simple. Make more plays than the other team.

Smoot usually plays better

Its hard going to Giants stadium and winning but they still gotta come to our house

Great news is our next 5 opponents are cream puffs.

Great sum up. Its funny you bring up Smoot. I thought he played so well in preseason and this game, he was awful.

Really? They lost to the Rams last year in a "gimmie" game...

Agreed! It's also sad that it's still applicable today.

I think it's pretty obvious by now that we just don't match up well with the Giants. I'm not going to get too bent out of shape about this loss as the Giants, to me, are a top 5 team in the league......so to win a home opener on their turf is no easy task. Lets get the Rams next week and get back to 1-1. There's a lot of season left to be played. I still have faith. Hail !!

It's not just one game. It's many year's of the same thing. In 58 minutes our offense scored 3 points. It's unnacceptable.

I agree but I think a little more continuity would go along way than constant change.
