I suspect that I'm right about where a lot of you are right now: nervously loafing around the house, just waiting for things to begin. I love these feelings that every fan gets to have every fall — optimism, hope, excitement. There haven't been any game-losing fumbles yet, no botched field goals, no heart-wrenching injuries. Right now all I'm seeing is victory on our horizon.

And we have so much to be excited about: a revamped D-line, young receivers, a quarterback in his make-or-break year, a young and fast secondary, a coach who is still learning the ropes, and a very reliable, trusty core of seasoned veterans.

Due to some personal circumstances, I had a very difficult fall last year. As a result, I don't really remember any of the games — even though I watched every minute of Redskins football. So this has made the offseason feel even longer to me. I feel like I haven't watched a Redskins football game in two years. I couldn't be more excited about this one.

I love being able to watch the Skins. Can't wait for 4:15!

I am doing homework in an attempt to rush by the time I have to wait. I wish I could fall asleep and wake up at 3:30 so I can start homegating.

I'll enjoy watching the first round of games at 1pm. Usually (when we play at 1:00), I have a hard time watching the 4:15 games with any interest. . .especially if we lost!

IB, I'm right there with you brother. My anticipation/excitement is on overload.

Last year I worked Sundays which was horrible! This year my ass will be front and center.

I hate the anticipation of late games. I'd much rather we play at 1:00. I'm down for at least two to three days after a loss, especially to a division rival. On the other hand, a division victory, will keep me going for a week or more. Good luck doing much work on Monday. :P

The 4:15 games are a killer over here - 9:15pm start means no bed before half past midnight, then up for work before 6 tomorrow morning..ugh. I'm too old for all this fast living! Lol.

Watching the 1 o'clock games has sobered me on my expectations. The Eagles are killing the Panthers, the two kid QB's both look better than Campbell. I wish we had already played.
