Why did we cut this guy? He played well, his conditioning wasn't great but he's 322 pounds 24 yrs old and got to the QB, I would've let Renaldo go for this kids potential, Griffin has been blocked some lately.

I don't know, man. Which DT would you have cut to keep Dixon? Not only do we have Haynesworth, Griffin, Montgomery, Golston and Alexander, but Phillip Daniels will also slide inside to the DT spot when Orakpo or Jarmon jumps in at DE. We are extremely deep on the d-line and I'm not sure it's wise to keep a 6th DT on the 53-man roster in hopes that he'll develop down the road.
