Anybody "Upgraded" thier tickets yet this year?

Post by wormer »

Just wondering if anyone that was on the "Upgrade list" has actually be able to upgrade....for some reason I don't really trust Snyder when it comes to the whole ticket thing. :^o They can do anything they want and no one would really know about it.

I don't say this without back up. When I was first on the list I had to call them to upgrade. I moved from left corner end zone about 7 rows from the top to 20 about 5 rows from the top. they claimed that they did not consider that an upgrade since I moved BACK. Umm... the 20 vs. the corner of the end zone??? Hello!!?? Now they wont even tell me where I am on the list which really P's me off. ;furious;

I'm also on the upgrade list...I had to fax a letter. Not sure how there're doing things over there. I really think they jumped the gun on calling people and telling them they had tickets. After Gibbs returned many people who werent' going to renew their tickets decided to do so. I think this caught them off guard. That's why the delay in the tickets to this point???

For those that want to upgrade their seats you could try to join the tailgate club. It costs alot of money, but that was how I upgraded from my upper level seats to lower level after just one year. The tailgate party is alot of fun to. You get an all you can eat barbecue. A whole bunch of huge plasma screens are set up so you can watch the games or pre game show. You also get to meet some Redskins Alumi and THE CHEERLEADERS!!!! After the game you can go to the 5th quarter party and hang out on the club level.

Come on Justice Hog.....Its only $450 per season for each ticket. If you got two tickets then your set, I could have upgraded for only two tailgate passes out of my four seats. I don't see why the same thing won't apply if you have six seats. Personally, I think its worth it because I hated walking up and down that ramp on every game day. Waiting in that long line before I could enter the Stadium drove me nuts and that traffic home....geez I hated that!!

Thats just My Humble Opinion.

According to the home page, there is a one-time member initiation fee of $995 for a "lifetime membership".

I guess that's in addition to the $470.00/year you have to pay for each ticket?

Is that $995 for each ticket, too...just to sign up?

Besides, since we're starting an official THEHOGS.NET tailgate club next year for all of those that would like to attend, I don't think I'll invest in the Redskins' version.

I did the tailgate party for a few games last year...I got my tickets online for $20 Alot of people just get them to get the lower level seating and then sell the tailgate passes.

When I got mine it was expensive. It did include the initiation fee. I can't remember the exact price, but I'm pretty sure it was $950 per ticket. It was a $500 initiation fee and $450 for a season pass. I bought four of them so I got one for free. So I spent ALOT to upgrade. I did it because of the stories like SkinsChic's that I heard. I just didn't want to wait for a REAL long time to move down. I also did it for the reasons I stated in my last two posts. Now that the initiation fee is gone I got to pay $450 per tailgate ticket. Your saying $470.....but I could have sworn it was $450. So I am spending thousands and thousands of dollars, but I got four of them. My point is that.... maybe you should try for two of them and see if you can move down. It won't hurt to try.

THE HOGS.NET tailgate club is going to kick butt. There is no doubt about it. I would like to attend for at least one game. Whether I can sell one of my passes or not I would like to attend, but once again my point was that joining the tailgate club was probably the best way to upgrade.

That is amazingly expensive. As much as I love the Redskins, I don't think I would ever pay that much. Snyder has found a way to scalp his own tickets.

I don't know for sure or not. But I have heard that you have to re up at least two of them to keep your seats. It is expensive, but I think its worth it.

We upgraded our seats from the upstairs section down to the 200's. I emailed the ticket office and they sent me a picture of the view and I was not impressed at all. You can not see the scoredboards and there are pillars in the view

So you DID updgrade them? In your post you mentioned that you were not impressed, so maybe that was a typo... when did the Skins email you about the upgrade? I am still waiting for my seat assignment as a new season tic holder...
