We can do this... 7 yards, man. Either corner'em or spread'em out and let JC find a lane.

This shot to the end zone has to be quick and has to be way OB if nothing's there.

Good for Mason. He's getting some play time.
OUr D and secondary needs to step up bigger, better.
JC looking pretty good.

Oh well. Tied game. I really wanted that one for JC. Good half though. 11-19, 190yds 4yd td run. Imagine how good he could play if 3/4ths of Hog Nation wasn't constantly calling for his job?

So, we get out of the first half with a 17-17 tie. Not bad. Saw a lot to like, and, of course, stuff not to like. Running game is defintely not in synche and opening holes. Pass protection and the passing game actually looking pretty good. D still needs to get more pressure and tighten up on pass protection.
All in all, though, not bad!

We accomplished a whole lot to have had absolutely nothing from the ground game (save for the 7 yard run to convert a minute ago). Balance, balance, balance.

On the other hand, we have been screaming to see JC put the team on his shoulders. This was good to see... Running game not working, but still moving the ball... We needed to see that.

I liked the fight to get back into this.
How deep each team's first string plays into the 3Q might decide the outcome.
What next-level players are we most interested in seeing?
