It's the first pre-season game. They don't game plan. Get a clue. They're trying to evaluate rookie and backup talent and keep the starters from getting hurt. This is in no way reflective of how we will play a month from tonight. Yes there are definitely some areas that need work, but c'mon people. There were several positives tonight.
We have a really good punter. That is a great advantage in the field position battle that we haven't had in a decade.
Orakpo is a stud. When Haynesworth is also in the lineup, we are going to have a killer D.
Blades looked really strong in relief of Fletcher.
The sophomore WRs both looked strong.
If Zorn can get JC to throw the ball sooner, we are going to be just fine.
We all know what

ey and Portis are capable of.
We will be fine. Quit your worrying, you pansy wusses.
Oh where do I start. I have been watching (and playing) football for probably as long or longer than yourself. So when you tell me to "get a clue" I'd be more than happy to have a "whose is bigger" contest about
football IQ. You are the same guy that I had to TELL that I was being sarcastic, so obviously you may be the guy that needs a clue. I understand it is the preseason. I understand you don't gameplan in the preseason (unless your steve Spurrier). My point (again really having to spell it out for you), is that (with the exception of a few players, orakpo, hunter, etc..) we looked like crap. And it looked very similar to the tail end of last season, when I believe we WERE outcoached, out hustled etc.
AGAIN I KNOW it is preseason. But when you are blanked on the scoreboard REGARDLESS of preseaon, reg season, playoffs or whatever, there is a problem. When you cross midfield 3 or 4 times in a game that is a problem. Most importantly to me, is that when guys are letting multiple RB's, or WR's run through them for 10, 15, 20 gains, and guys are whiffing tackles, to me that shows lack of heart, or lack of respect for coach, i.e.. Quitting. You eternal optimists crack me up. Your so quick to jump on people like me who point out OBVIOUS problems as fair weather fans or uninformed. But in REALITY, you seem to dismiss these shortcomings as preseason issues, or whatever fits your argument at the time. Do I think the skins are going to go 2-14 this year? NO. But they sure have a lot of work to do to convince me they are going 10-6 or better. Your Avatar is quite fitting... I think you've been sipping on the LSD laced Kook Aid partner.
