could someone help me out. i heard a tease on sports center about how shockey didn't think much of kellen winslow jr. but i missed the story. What did he say?
and i wonder if the skins tight ends and te coach have had to answer questions about their ability without winslow whom many thought would or should be the #1 pick

Are you sure you heard that, shockey was winslow's mentor when he was at Miami. There supposedly good friends, but I guess they could have had a falling out considering all the things winslow has done in the past few months.

Forom what I hear, a reporter asked Winslow to compare himself to Shockey. Winslow said that his playing style is more like Shockey's than his fathers. He also said he will top Jeremey's rookie stats (74 catches, 894 yards, 2 TDs). ''Just bragging rights,'' he said. Hopefully he doesn't call Bill Parcells a homo...

KWII was on NFL Network a few nights ago and he had only good things to say about Shockey. As a matter of fact KW said about Shockey "He taught me every thing I know, he taught me how to play" I found that comment odd considering who KWs, father is. KW also did slip a bit and say that he feels he has "more talent or whatever but he taught me all I know".
Rich Eisen also asked why so many Miami players were able to go in the first round. KWs response was “Well you know playing at Miami is playing pro” Can’t argue much there.
