How's he supposed to know. I can't see us cutting a guy who just went to the Pro-Bowl the season before. There is talk that he wants a new contract but he wouldn't be getting much more than he is now. I just think he's looking for guaranteed money.
Rock will be here. He is the Special Teams leader. And some young kid who's never found a way to stick around on a roster is not going to sub-plant the one guy on our team who's done everything the coaches asked him to do. Does he give us anything on offense? No. But I can say that last year he really wasn't given the opportunity. He's like Brian Mitchell was. Just a good special teams guy. I would like to see him try punts though.

I don't think its his fault he was picked in the 5th and I don't think he needs to man up for anything.
I really would like to find out what our true use for him will be. 3 years at running back and one at LB'r I wonder if we plan on using him in certain situations. But, I doubt he see's the field this year outside of pre-season.

I didn't forget... age and attitude might cost him is spot. Not to mention that dive he attempted last year when he could have just ran over the guy for the score. His mini camp antics did play a part in my choice to leave him off the F53 also.

I still think we hold on to Sellers. He's a mammoth blocker in front of the RB. I don't know who would replace him as FB.
...any given Sunday....
RIP #21 Sean Taylor. You will be loved and adored by Redskins fans forever!!!!!

What a useless piece of propagandist rhetoric that is.

Most of the roster is pretty straight forward. I'll be interested in a few younger new players however. Specifically... Dominique Dorsey, Anthony Alridge, Marko Mitchell and Keith Eloi.
Both rookie WR's have been impressive so far in the mini camp practices and both have garnered attention from players and coaches alike. Mitchell is 6'4 and runs a 4.36. That's impressive in itself. Eloi has been catching everything thrown his way, even gaining some positive remarks from Smoot and Zorn. I mention the rookie WR's because I believe we will need a replacement for Thrash and a 6th receiver on the roster this year.
Either Alridge or Dorsey has a very good chance of making the team as a RB/KR/PR. Both have been impressive thus far. I'll be keeping an eye on that competition as well.

In watching them over the last few days at practice, the speed is obvious in both cases. Alridge is more of a blazing speed guy, whereas Dorsey is more elusive, and more inclined to use his small size to his advantage. Or, as Coach Zorn put it when I asked him yesterday, "Alridge is FAST, Dorsey has got some great wiggle to him."
