Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

What do you think of fastwb's Redskins draft pick cards for 2009?

Pretty cool! How about some for Redskins ignored by the card companies?

They're Ok. 1990 ProSet was better. Leave it to the professionals.

Not bad. Too much info on the back. Poor design.

Just wanted to share my efforts at collecting some facts and opinions about who we got in the draft this year. I put together some links on a spreadsheet to some of the sites that I found useful during my preparatuions for the draft. I know it can be a pain to sift through the crap and get right to the info that you want so I hope this helps.

Sorry the spreadsheet is not there anymore but check out the cards. There's a lot of info about each pick squeezed onto them.

I know you put a lot of work into that spreadsheet, but it's a little much with all the unnecessary graphics.

If you had the graphic for each source as the column header, and increased the font size for the rankings and position rating, I think it would be a lot more "user friendly."

As it is now, the graphics kinda dominate the columns and the data is lost between them.

At least IMHO.

Other than that; Nice work getting it all together.

Brutal honesty, I love it! Seriously, if I wasn't looking for some real feedback do you think I would have posted it here? I agree about the graphics. The whole thing started off as just something for my own personal use but after I got into it a ways I thought other people might want to have easy access to the info without having to chase it all down themselves so.....

My children, gather round! No retreat, no surrender; that is Spartan law. And by Spartan law we will stand and fight... and die. A new age has begun. An age of freedom, and all will know, that 300 Spartans gave their last breaths to defend it!

Site Update: Redskins Draft Pick Cards by fans for fans

Post by fastwb »

Ever look at a football card and say,"Couldn't they have found a better picture?" or "Is that all they put on the back?" Ok, maybe I'm weird that way but I know there are fans out there that are frustrated by which players get cards and wish they were more informative. Well, at least one and I decided to come up with some on my own. Check out the site again and let me know what you think. Can anybody recognize the design on the front of the "cards"?
