I know about the size issue, but this kid is a serious competitior, and when he knows the offense, he makes decisions where to go with the ball lighning fast... Drew Breeze is not a bad comparison... ask Jeremy Macklin what he thinks of Chase... without Chase, Macklin would have been a 3rd rounder at best... I'll be shocked if he doesn't push Colt and TC hard...
Chase Daniel reminds me a lot of Danny Wuerfell. Undersized system qb with a weak arm.
Chase Daniels is a very good signing. Oh and someone said weak arm? I mean where do these people get there opinions? Chase Daniels has a very good arm. He can do at least a 60 yard bomb. That is sufficient in the NFL. He does not have the strongest arm ever. But, definatley not a weak arm.
I like the Scott Burley signing. I've always thought he had talent and could make the move to the next level.
I also like knowing we have a "Burley Tackle."

Not he has a big opinion to go with his big hair. A lot of his players were still on the board. Check out who was available on "His" board that were lineman that were falling down 2-3 rounds. Teams didn't value his guys as much as he does. If he were such a good talent evaluator, he'd be working for an NFL team to help them with their draft, like the Baltimore Ravens whom he's a season ticket holder....don't you think?

I've watched Chase play for three years, seen Mizzou live at the Arch Rivirly game against Illinois last year and the K-ST game as well as the '08 Cotton Bowl and Nebraska in '06. The only games I missed watching on TV the last two seasons was the Navada game. In his three seasons as a starter he never threw the ball 60 yards. Nothing against the kid, but as someone else pointed out he is much closer to Danny Wuerffel then Drew Brees.
Bruce has the authority. When Bruce makes the decision, it's a Redskins decision.

Kiper pwned Tobin though, If you look at how the picks turned out.

Yeah, Dilfer was on the winning team in a SB, but they didn't win because of him. Didn't they go like seven straight games without an offensive TD?

Dilfer had arguably one of the top 3 defenses in NFL history backing him up. LOL He could have laid on the ground and they would have won.
The bottom line though is that Dilfer > Trev Alberts. Trent Dilfer was a pro-bowler once, and a decent but unspectacular pro. Trev Albert played for a couple years and was out of football.

That still doesn't make Kiper a genius. And the look on his face when Tobin said that was priceless. Still one of the funniest moments of live TV I ever saw.

Kiper might not be a genius but he or McShay are probably above average NFL scouts. They get paid the big bucks and are on TV but they are probably good enough to be directors of college scouting for the team of their choice.

Actually, the look on Kiper's face when ANYONE disagrees with him is hilarious. He always looks like he's about to explode.
We always run with 4 QBs in camp. It may not mean anything. Chase can hit the PS.
Exactly right. Even though Chase played in a run-and-shoot offense that doesn't translate very well to the NFL, Chase has a good arm and can throw the ball. Teams need 4 QB's in camp to run drills and stuff, so Chase will fill that role nicely. He'll most likely hit the practice squad, and if he looks good, there's at least a small chance he could replace Collins in the future. It will actually be interesting to watch both Colt and Chase in preseason. These aren't bad QB's by any stretch.
