if we were going to do this crap, i wonder if we could have packaged our 5th and 6th this year that we just wasted, and our first and say forth next year to move up and gotten OHER late in the first round. we waste those late round picks anyway and could have them all put together and got our first round pick a year early and address our OLine problem.

No. Future draft picks are worth basically two rounds lower than this year. Like next years first rd is worth this years 3rd.

not true. denver traded next years FIRST to obtain the 5th pick in the SECOND round this year... #37 overall. so, would the redskins FIRST next year, plus forth, fifth, and sixth be enough to move up to #23? maybe it would have to be FIRST next year, THIRD, fifth, and sixth. either way, if we only draft well in the first round or two, we should package as many late picks together as possible to move up... not move down for more picks. i mean, i would rather move down for more picks if we actually knew how to draft late round picks. but we just end up cutting them anyway, so that strategy doesnt work for us. it works for the steelers, patriots, eagles, giants, etc... not us.

I'm only saying what Gil Brant said on Serius NFL Radio on Friday.

I don't understand why Khary Campbell is still a free agent and then we go and draft these guys.
From what I have read on Glenn and Henson, it hasn't been very good.
I think the team is 2 for 4 so far with their picks.
The team needs to re-sign Khary Campbell and do it quickly. There is no reason he should still be a FA. He leads the team in ST tackles every year and can fill in at linebacker when needed.

at least the 2 for 2 was the early picks and 0 for 2 with the 5th and 6th rounders. better that than the other way around.

True. I just don't think that either of the two that we got are any good.
Suck and Luck

I don't think its that bad Canes....What if one of our starting 3 corners go down? We need someone right?
At least we have starters at cb. Who do we have to start at OLB? Who do we have to start at RT?
As a lot of people have pointed out the injury Jansen suffered 2 years ago is frequently followed by a sucking year. He's not that old and he's always been a great player. To be concerned about that we haven't addressed the future of the position is reasonable, but to say we have no one to start is premature.
Hail to the Redskins!

Oh I know and I agree but it was a need just not a big one.

But you really have nothing to base that on unless you are a scout. I can say that I don't know enough about these guys and I watch a ton of football. Orakpo has a better chance to me a bust than an elite player. History has shown that. Now, these guys picked in the 6th round have just as much opportunity to become a star as any player in the draft. And again, thats based off history. And I hope they do. That'll only mean this team is better now than it was on Friday before the draft.
