I think it's a rare thing to see any team encourage you to "sell your tickets at a profit" if you can't go.
Most teams have enough trouble with people selling their tickets to begin with and generally feel that any "profit" should be theirs alone.
It's not like any stadium checks "team affiliation" when selling tickets. Why should the fan waste his money, and leave his seat empty if he can't go?
Certainly some will sell to friends, or people they know, but if you can't find anyone in this harsh economic time, it's nice to know that the team won't hunt you down for "scalping" your tickets to the general public.
They won't make you "forfeit" your seats that you've had for years.
At least, that's my opinion. Not that I'm a season ticket holder or anything.

The skins are headed for disaster and obvious melt down for the season.
Wake up!!! Zorn is Steve S. all over again he looks lost out there and not fit for a NFL head coaching job. Blache and his schemes stink not just a little but a lot!!!!
Who do you really point the finger at you got it Danny boy!!!!!
Who was the idiot that took 2 months to decide Zorn was a good head coach and let Al Saunders, Greg Williams go exit the door? Danny ripped down everything Gibbs had built for what the west coast offense? A defense that still gives the q-back all damn day to throw the ball but now also gives up big chunks from the running game.
I hate it we are not the god D#$5 Niners or seahawks!!!!!
The redskins are a power running football team that takes shots down the field and loves the tight end/h back!!!!!
This team is doomed with Danny at the helm and good day!!!

Really? Wow... So in the end, you've come to that conclusion after you started off by saying...
SkinsSince96 wrote:Let go of those mistakes? I could list ignorant decisions that Snyder has made every year since he bought this team except for when Gibbs was running it. I cant look forward if Snyders ignorance keeps slapping us fans in the face yearly.
Don't worry about that comment or conclusion, I understand completely. In hindsight, you recognize Snyder has made mistakes, as we ALL do. You recognize that all teams deal with mistakes and adversity (like Denver has been this offseason or like the Jags missing on three 1st rounders in recent years) and are willing to let those mistakes go and move on, because you're a fan of the 'team'. I understand completely and respect that.
Dan Snyder and his best buddy Vinny Cerato are clueless. They have taken a respected organization, and drove it into a bottomless pit. We are the laughing stock of the NFL and there is no chance of things improving with those two clowns in charge

I myself suscribe to every word in your post. So much for distancing from the views of one another.
Look DE, let us face it:
Some posters and fans feel that a criticism of the way the FO has been run for years under DS is an attack against the Skins. It is not. It is actually painful and frustrating to see that a few simple but important steps could allow this team to regain its glory days.
It is because we LOVE our team and we want it to truly succeed that we go to great lengths to prove that the owner and his FO are not capable to deliver a Superbowl Champion simply because they do not have the knowledge and they allow their egoes to run amok.
Our message is not pretty. We are forecasting failure if things continue in this path. That conviction runs precisely AGAINST the natural hopes and sincere expectations for success of many faithful season after season after season ...
And of course things are not desperate. The Skins are not the Lions and hopefully they will never be. But the mediocrity and incompetence of the FO prevents the Team from reaching the heights that we once knew.
I would be at peace with your fear of "temporary success". It will not happen. The Skins will not win championships under the current management scenario but they will not also fall to the bottom of the standings in the NFL. They will be there "in the middle" right about where mediocrity is defined.
Oh MY !!!
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

I have been one of the hardiest Vinny haters out there but after he is now gone and the way the Skins have played the last four games, I kind of feel sorry for him. I'm asking myself right now was Vinny really the problem or is it just Snyder.
I found out who Vinny's replacement is Bruce Allen and I just started shaking my head not saying Allen won't do a good job but this just looks like a typical Danny move.
Go get the closet thing you can find to the Redskin glory days to lure the ratings back up again and not searching for the most qualified person out there.
Allen better draft good that's all I can say!!! Vinny's two years of drafting was good but all the other area's like depth on the team and a coach that could coach is what I really did not like.
I guess that I will do more research before I say anything else.

As i have said I don't beleive Vinny made one decision during his time here..Snyder was force to sell him out as the scapegoat...Look at the bigger picture...Snyder turning over control...
And don't feel sorry for Vinny...he was the one who allow himself to be in that position and I'm sure DS has and will continue to pay him well...and when he write the tell all book.........
