i wouldnt trade the 1st rounder but maybe a 2nd... depends really how high up you have to move up to get him

geez, if we thought he was worth it at #13 overall.... next years 32nd pick *wink* and this years third doesnt seem like much to give up.

How would that work? Trade a second for a first this year? No. You want a first you have to spend a 1st.

we would be crazy to trade a pick ..... wait a minute, what did I say?
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

it'd be more likely if we traded a player to happen... NE has a lotta picks coming up.(and i know they dont like to over-spend)

Do the redskins trade next year's first to select Oher

Post by CcHhDd »

Oher is still on the board at 23... do the skins morgage next yr's first rounder to a team for a RT to groom a year early? I'm guessing only a 5th rounder would have to be thrown in with it.

I'd trade up to get Oher if I was the Skins, I like the 3rd round but a 1st next year would just be like us taking that pick a year early.

Mike Oher is a dominant OT (and man was I wrong when I said he wouldn't slide.)

Well he is a Raven now. It sucks not having more than 1 first day pick.

Damn, hate to see the cross town rivals putting it together. They have a franchise QB, a stud tackle, good defensive and offensive lines...

Anyway, we still have those picks so we can work on getting a QB next season.

2-2|0-4|1-2|0-0
home: 3-2
road: 0-6

Since 2000 the Redskins have scored 40 pts 2 times!!!!
12/30/01 @ NO 40-10 W
10/23/05 vs SF 52-17 W

Anyone think Hakeem Nicks to the Giants?

Where does that leave Edwards and Boldin? Do we have a shot to trade one of our 2nd round WR from last season and a 2010 pick for Edwards?

If so, I hope we don't do it!

We have no ammo to get into the 2nd round.
But I'm happy....our D is going to be a BEAST in the East.

Now I really wish that we had that 2nd round pick from the Taylor trade. There are still a couple of good, quality OT's on the board with Beatty and Britton.

So we got:

LE- Andre Carter
DT- Albert Haynesworth
DT- Cornelius Griffin
RE- Brian Orakpo (with Haynesworth moving here in certain situations.)

(Plus we have Rocky McIntosh, Cedric Golston, Reynaldo Wynn and others to rotate. Maybe Phillip Daniels will be back?)

WLB- Rocky McIntosh
MLB- London Fletcher-Baker
SLB- H.B. Blades/Robert Thomas?? (Or 3rd rounder.)

(LB is still a little weak, but we have Fincher and Blades/Thomas to rotate. But we need a LB in the 3rd round. BAD.)

CB- DeAngelo Hall
CB- Carlos Rogers
CB- Fred Smoot

FS- LaRon Landry
SS- Chris Horton/Reed Doughty

Some work still needs to be done but at least the defensive line and cornerbacks are awesome.

Daniels re-signed during the Cutler fiasco... Why is Rocky listed with the DL?
