I wonder what the package is. Also, did the Redskins not match it because of cost, because they were bluffing on Sanchez? Some of both?

I can't imagine why people are so happy about this.
What if Mark Sanchez really is a legit superstar? We don't really know how he'll turn out but if he is a franchise QB then we missed our chance.
There's still a good chance he's not, because you never can tell in the NFL but if he's a franchise QB then we lost our shot at him.
As it stands I am excited about getting a potential stud defensive or offensive lineman (or linebacker!) but if Sanchez is as good as some think, we'll regret this.
Oh well, what's done is done here's hoping the Skins have a great draft. (And how about some credit for Vinny and Danny having restraint and not selling the farm to move up to take Sanchez?)

Folks, I have have never in my life seen so much enthusiasm and relief over another team's pick....I am getting so pumped seeing all of your responses expressing pure undadulterated JOY over this selection.....It seems like THE WORLD IS OURS NOW.....anybody we take now is okay with me.....even Graham Harrell.......okay maybe not him.......

I think the Redskins would have done more harm than good to a) pay the price to get the pick (the Jets gave up a 1, a 2 and THREE players) and b) fudge up the cap even more to give him the contract the would have been necessitated for someone picked at #5.

and yet the Redskins won't get any credit for not grabbing. That is an amazing haul for that pick.
