ESPN wrote:REDSKINS GRAB CUTLER IN BLOCK-BUSTER TRADE
The Redskins moved quickly to land the recently disgruntled Jay Cutler in a block-busting trade with the Denver Broncos. Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports the trade will involve Cutler going to the Redskins in exchange for Jason Campbell, LaRon Landry, Chris ey and two 1st round draft picks; the 13th overall pick in this years draft and Washington's 1st round pick in 2010. Daniel Snyder is well known for for giving up too much to make the off-season splash with his indulgence for star players.
I am glad I know what the date is today or I would've freaked, but I am sure you made some people extremely happy on here (at least for a second). It would've been awesome to have the "more here" linked to some rick rolling or something along those lines. Anyway, good one!
I looked on another message board for any news and got fooled by a Cutler trade to the Skins.
It didnt work twice. Sorry. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
RIP Sean Taylor (1983-2007)

ESPN's John Clayton wrote:Cutler trade with Redskins is a done deal
ESPN's senior NFL analyst and commentator John Clayton has confirmed through unnamed NFL sources that Cutler has been traded to the Washington Redskins in exchange for two 1st round picks, Jason Campbell, Chris ey and LaRon Landry, previously reported by ESPN's Chris Mortensen. Although both organizations have been reluctant to release a press statement at this time, an official announcement is expected to be released at 6:00 PM tonight, April 1, 2009, by both teams. Cutler could arrive in Washington as soon as Friday of this week, however, due to the sudden nature of this trade, it may take longer for Campbell, ey and Landry to arrive in Denver. The Bronco's head coach Josh McDaniel's believes Campbell would be an excellent fit with his offense and brings a "Tom Brady" like quality to the team.
This may be april fool's but profootballtalk.com has the redskins among "the leading candidates" to get Cutler. This, of course, is under "rumors" but it absolutely sounds legit.
The important thing that the webpage doesn't specify is what we will be trading, which will determine whether or not this is a good or bad deal.
This would have made my day. I would love to see the Redskins FINALLY have a quarterback. This team hasn't had a quarterback since they became my team in the early 90's. Wow! The way I look at it is that history will repeat itself, and we will give up an early round pick before next years draft... so why not on the best YOUNG quarterback in the NFL.

I urge a policy of midnight whippings for all those who issue joke trade reports. We have people of advanced years on this site whose hearts simply aren't up to it.

Yeah, too bad that trade rumor included our best young QB, best young safety and best young Pro Bowl TE...
I wouldn't have traded all those guys for Montana, let alone Cutler.
...any given Sunday....
RIP #21 Sean Taylor. You will be loved and adored by Redskins fans forever!!!!!

The National Anthem sucks.
What a useless piece of propagandist rhetoric that is.

I think that's the reason he posted it.

haha, it was a sure joke when McDaniels is quoted as saying JC would bring a "Tom Brady" like quality to the team... I would like to trade for Cutler, give them Campbell, but not Landry and ey, that would not be cool...
