I believe (and thereby will be the first 'Yes' vote cast) that sometime immediately after the first year, Jason Campbell was either abducted by the powers that be or was involved in a debilitating or possibly disfiguring accident, leading to the need to have a stand-in there so as not to taint St. Joe's pick. I believe that the man you see on the field and on TV is none other than Eriq LaSalle, late of the series "ER" and of the Eddie Murphy film "Coming To America".
