We Need A 2nd Rnd Pick

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

We Need A 2nd Rnd Pick

Post by Gibbs4Life »

I'm in favor of moving back in the first for a late 1 and a 2. The reason being the only quality OT projected to fall to 13 is Andre Smith and he is not impressive as of late. Move down get a 2, or trade someone for the 2, like devin thomas.

At first I wanted Percy Harvin. Just because he is the best athlete avail.

Then I came to my senses and settled on a first round OT

Now, it looks as though every top OT will go before our pick at 13

So trade back and the player I want is Beanie Wells Ohio State. Do the research on Ohio State RB's, and this guy is a a faster stronger brandon jacobs.

I would like to have a number two too but it depends on the situation if I would want to trade the first. If the 13th pick comes and Oher is still there, then we have to take him. If him and maybe Orakpo or Cushing or any other players that they are particularly interested in are gone then I would love to trade to get a 2nd rounder and move back. But I dont think the trade should involve Thomas or any other player drafted last year.
RIP SEAN TAYLOR #21

Trade Devin Thomas and draft Beanie Wells? Umm... what are you smokin'?

Why draft a RB? We already have a Pro Bowler and very good depth at the position, and yet still no one to block for him? Dude... come on.

I not saying draft a RB because there are other needs...but we have no one who can get to the edge...I'd like to see us get faster.

Can we get a 2nd from ES in exchange for G4L

Let me check on that one. Would you take a high third? I don't think they'll go for G4L for a 2nd...we might have to throw in a sippy cup or a Ravens/skins hybrid fan to get the 2nd.

We might be able to get a second from Concrete Field, and wouldn't have to throw in the cup.

Ever heard of Anthony Alridge, nicknamed "quick 6"? Third fastest time at the combine last year? A Darren Sproles type of RB?

Don't know, I was more or less just kidding... to a degree. He's probably in the long-shot category. But, the signings of Anthony Alridge and Dominique Dorsey clearly indicate that a speedy KR/RB is something the team would like to incorporate. They're worth watching in camp. In my opinion, I think Alridge has the best chance and could be a pleasant surprise.

See here.
