Sapp fine this week re: hitting an official before the game?

I just heard this week that "fat boy" received a $50,000 for making contact with an official before last week's game. Anyone know more on this? Why wasn't he rejected?

Yes, he was fined. Don't know why he wasn't ejected. Should have been - it was pretty blatent as he skipped onto the field, bumped into the ref and didn't even acknowledge it....just kept on going. He's an arrogant lard butt. Was pretty funny though that he didn't even come out of the locker room during our stretches. LaVar was facing the tunnel watching for his big butt but he never showed. Hehehehe
