Bj Raji vs Albert Haynesworth

Post by CcHhDd »

What are the pros vs cons of trading up and just going after bj raji.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UQ2YGE9 ... re=related

Keep in mind this is not a highlight video.. but a video against one team, va tech.

Why not trade up for bj raji rather than risk signing haynesworth to a monster deal.

Give the youngster with the drive to get his own huge contract rather than the player who is just waiting for his big payday to pull back on the throttle.

At worst raji has us losing a second rounder next year to move up? Haynesworth's money costs us money to spend in two - three other positions.

1 draft pick vs three guys on the 53 man roster.

Got to admit Rajji looks good. Still I do not think he can push NFL guys around like that in his first year. Maybe , maybe not?

All though first round picks get alot of money. He will still be cheaper than Haynesworth. But for me I do not like going after defensive tackles in the first round. Too much of a gamble. I would rather us draft an offensive tackle. But, I truly would not be disappointed if we happened to draft him.

We try to keep the discussions organized to limit board chaos, not necessarily based on how realistic roster suggestions are. ;)

Basically any topic that talks about who we should go after (like what Redskins should do when it comes to acquiring players in FA or in the draft). . .essentially, if the author is playing GM, then it goes here in Fantasy Football Land.

Topics that include internal Redskins issues, like benching or starting certain players, go in Hogwash. (Even if they are 'fantasy', in that sense, at best. :))

Topics that talk about substantiated rumors (i.e., if the media is picking up on the idea that the Redskins will pursue Haynesworth), they go in Hogwash.

Obviously there is going to be some overlap. We're just trying our best to keep things organized to facilitate discussion.
