I don't see the problem short of the OC argument on the field. He's stated ALL YEAR that he wants out. Where is it written that he has to celebrate with his team? Does it spark team cohesion? No. They's in teh SuperBowl so it obviously doesn't HURT team coheasion TOO MUCH, now does it?

Seriously? I always learned in team sports that no matter how you perform that day, you win and lose as a team. And celebrate wins as a team.

And I think there's an inherent difference between a contract squabble with the FO and a bond with your teammates...

I agree, but this isn't a black and white subject. As long as he's there giving 100% during practice and the game, who gives a rat's ass what happens otherwise. It obviously didn't affect the team's performance too much.

Either way I know that we men have fragile egos and then you put us in a situation like football it's ten fold. As a youth coach I don't like it as a fan and former player I understand it.
I think one thing that may bother AB and I'm sure a lot of people took notice.. was that they beat Carolina without him and Then knocked off Philly with him not on the field.

Is he a #1 receiver that doesn't have a Larry Fitzgerald to double up?

As a rookie (before Larry Fitz got there) he had 101 catches, 1377 yards, 8 TDs. That's with Jeff Blake throwing to him, and the other WR being Bryant Johnson.

In 2005, with Larry Fitz having a probowl year, Boldin had 102 catches, 1402 yards, and 7 TDs.

Gym, listen. I'm not saying he's a bad receiver. I think we'll agree on this: The dynamic Cardinal passing attack is a once in a decade spectacle. Warner has had the distinct pleasure of being a passer on two of those teams.
He's able to spread the ball around there. Back in the years you reference, there was also a running game to respect. My thinking is, we take somebody else's Jerry Rice and turn him into our Michael Westbrook time and time again. It's just our luck, maybe...and maybe it's just that the player came from a place where conditions were ideal for his maximum performance. Remember when they had David Boston out there in the desert? He has those two phenomenal years, 2000-2001, then gets hurt the next year. Still commands good money on the FA market. He goes to the Chargers and just fizzles out. You and I both know that it was because he had ankles like a little girl, but can see the point I'm trying to illustrate? I'm wracking my brain trying to remember the last time (pre-'tana) we got a free agent WR coming off a great year...and he duplicated his success with us. Who? Ellard? Fryar?
Certainly, the list of also-rans is longer. When I couple that with the recent outburst, and make it a threesome with his season-long sulking...I form the opinion that he'd be a bad fit here. I thought the same about Randy Moss, TO, the Jackson kid from Seattle to name some recent examples of potential free agents or trades.
Don't worry, though. Nobody in the FO is asking me what I think.
