Someone needs to call a mechanic; I think our machine is on the fritz.
- I agree and it may require a lot more than that
Like Vet pointed out, we are definetly out of 2008 and hopefully we will have something "running" this coming year - if you'll pardon the obvious pun
by the way - I did notice the *
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
OK - I am "optimistically waiting until after the draft" - I certainly hope that by then we have also had some success through free agency and trades - with this FO, THAT is a lot of optimism

p.s. for those who think system QBs are not worthy, think about how many chances your QB will have to throw. would you want a QB who completes 55-60% or one who can throw for possibly a higher percentage for more yards(the run-and shoot just gives you more live 'in game' practice to throw)
ps> couple of worthy notes.
Colt never had a full top-tier OLine to play behind@Hawaii(there were some top talent players, but not all 5).
His WRs were all considered 'undersized'
He's able to fit most systems due his core skills are up there IMHO(may need to work on the "slow down offense"/"eat up the clock" offense but that should be made easier w/a top RB in Portis)
pps.(not related to thread but worthy of watching): if you've never seen this play, you gotta check it out HILARIOUS(sorry Wash St fans)

what if Colt? Well he can't be any wrose, JC is terrible. Makes bad decisions, slow release, no pocket presence, just bad. All he does is dump offs, he can't complete a pass over five yards. Well at least he doesn't try to, if he doesn't try to he probably can't. BUt he is bad, with Colt back there, he can't be any wrose.
Seriously, he couldn't be any wrose.

Wrose? I would think you meant worse, but you typed it that way three times!

Whats the point of this post. I misspelled a word. I have a 3.7 while working on my MBA, spell check has done wonders for my papers. What was your gpa in grad school?
I didn't go to grad school. But I'm not sure what your GPA has to do with writing coherent posts that people can read on the first try. I assume you want to make your points understood, or you wouldn't be posting on a message board in the first place. You should use spellcheck here for the same reason you use it on your papers in grad school.

Watching Flacco and Matt Ryan makes me ponder...we probably have the better passer of the three.
I agree. I think we should have given Colt some playing time those final two games, even if he didn't start, just to see what he could do against NFL regulars.
And I apologize for taking the thread off-topic before.

Than stop acting like you are smarter than me. Since your not in grad school or never went, I am smarter than you. Call me a snob, but education is the measuring stick of brains. Sorry if I hurt your feelings, but I hope you have learned your lesson, and you are now sitting properly in your place. Don't ever correct me again.

Ahem, it's "then stop acting like you're smarter than me."
I'm a big believer in education but going to grad school could mean you either had to money or lacked the drive to go out and get a real job after college. I've known plenty of people who took that route.
Almost anyone could go to grad school if they had the dough, and you could have studied any number of things from library science to sports management. Your "degree" is just a piece of paper until it's applied in the real world.
I know, I have one.

You're smarter than me because you go to grad school (well, not "go," so much as log on to)? That's completely laughable on it's face. You claim to have a 3.7 GPA on an Internet message board, and that is somehow a measuring stick for your intelligence? Yeah, I guess it is... but not in the direction you think.

Guys, this is veering off topic. He's obviously trolling for a reaction, please don't perpetuate it. Knowing you two, I know you will act like the adults here.

Sorry PE, I should have taken him to smack. If you want to delete my post, I won't be offended.

But, he's our "great hyped hope" - look I don't think anyone really knows how Brennan will work out but he's here and this camp he will be in the mix with Campbell and whoever else we have - We will most likely see Campbell as the "starter" for the most part but Zorn will also be looking at Brennan and I'm sure that as it is in Zorn's best interest he will be closely working with whoever is here
I don't think Campbell is going to take "the next step" but he's our starter for now and it would be great if he suddenly makes the improvements needed to become our next very good QB
