Floyd Reese was the General Manager of the NFL Tennessee Titans from 1994 - 2006. He is currently a television commentator on ESPN NFL Live and a writer on ESPN.COM. Reese is known for drafting 3 NFL Rookies of the Year with only 11 first round draft choices. He has successfully drafted a Rookie of the Year in over 27% of his first round selections. The Rookies of the Year include Eddie George (1996), Jevon Kearse (1999) and Vince Young (2006). Reese is also known for drafting NFL co-MVP Steve McNair
Wow, that looks pretty impressive. Wonder why he's not with the Titans (or anyone else for that matter) anymore?
I mean did he quit? Did the Titans fire him? Has he turned to commentary because he just doesn't want to do the job anymore?
Wow this guy is actually lobbying for the Lions or Browns job!
With such an impressive resume it would seem that those teams would snatch him up in a hot minute.
Of course it could have something to do with the fact that the Titans only went better than 8-8 in four of his 13 years as GM.
It's probably not helpful that the Titans have gone 10-6, and 13-3 without him and actually improved after benching one of his rookies of the year.
