Hognostications Week 17

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

BRD's picks for the 17th, and final week of the regular season:

Buccaneers
Packers
Eagles
Vikings
Texans
Saints
Falcons
Bengals
Ravens
Colts
Steelers
Dolphins
Patriots
Cardinals
REDSKINS
Chargers

No MNF, so no point total I guess -- or do we take the late game Sunday night? JSPB, Hoss, expect a PM or two from me after this week just to make sure I'm on the same page as far as the playoff picks go. Thanks.

Hail

That's what I was thinking as well, trey. In that event, SNF total = 55.

You still need a tiebreaker, so I would assume the last game of the week... which happens to be the Bronco/Chargers game.

Man, I hate week 17! You have no idea which teams are going to show up in certain games. CAR/NO, NYG/MIN, TEN/IND, DAL/PHI, and DEN/SD all could go either way depending on if one team sits starters, or just certain team's schizophrenic nature dictates that they can't be trusted from week to week.

Somehow I missed the MIA/NYJ game. Good thing it is at 4:00. I'll take MIA.

That game just sucked the life out of me. Ironic that such a dispiriting performance comes on the same day that I apparently remembered how to pick teams.

Not that THAT matters in any way -

CIN
NE
BAL
ARI
WASHINGTON REDSKINS <-- Pitiful way to end the season.
MIA
PHI
SD 52 points <-- See, I said SD was going to score 52 points in a victory.

12-4 Not too shabby, but only good enough for a season tie with SkinsJock (unofficially, of course  ). I guess we'll have to let the playoffs decide. 8)

Thanks Hoss, for running this show. Congrats, SkinsJock. You were strong all year man. <sigh> Guess I'll have to be content with 3 weekly high-win totals in this, my first season Hognosticating.

That, and the playoffs.

Thank you sir. I sort of staggered to the finish line there for the few weeks before the last one, but mayhap my mojo's back just in time for the playoffs.

Good Luck everyone.
