Agreed.
I also disagree about his comment that he doesn't think Zorn can handle being a coach. Just because Zorn didn't make a huge scene on sidelines with Moss, for the cameras and all the world to see, in no way means Moss wasn't reprimanded behind closed doors, as it should be handled. If Zorn had exploded on the sidelines, it just would have been another media frenzy attacking him. Brian does come off as being jealous and disgruntled.
You may be right and mostly i agree. but if i was head Coach when Moss did that? he would have been benched right then and there. Sometimes you have to make a statement to your tema what kind of character gets awarded and what type of actions won't fly. You think Parcells would have stayed quiet if one of his players cost him 15 yards while behind in a game JUST as the team finally did something positive to gain momentum? What Moss did was a picture perfect example of why this team loses.
Eh.. he was in the endzone with the ball. I was taught that was a touchdown. Touchdowns are not why we lose.. it's the lack of.
The team was having their a$$ handed to them for most of the game. Moss, a supposed team leader, scores the touchdown, the first good momentum building thing to happen and everyone has to be thinking 'okay, now we're back in it. let's stop the offense on this next drive and get the ball back' and before you could complete that thought, you see Moss, like an idiot rookie, start his little pathetic celebration. And now instead of gaining momentum, we put the Bungles one first down from field goal range. Momentum gone.
You don't celebrate in a way to cost your team field position. You don't celebrate when you're having your a$$ handed to you by the freakin Bungles. and you don't celebrate when you're supposed to be a veteran leader who should know how to act like someone who has been to the endzone before.
