Lets just say that even if Sean did not want to play at one of the most state of the art facilities and for one of the most storried franchises in the NFL led by a hall of fame coach now; He almost certainly will be happy being a Skin when Danny-Boy writes him that big signing bonus check. Lets give Gibbs some credit here, all he has been talking about is bringing in players that wanted to be Skins. Does this rumor even mildly make us doubt that with his #1 pick back he would take a player who did not want to play here. Its not like Seans like T.O. or something. No matter what King says......Ill stick with Coach Gibbs's choice.

Yup thats why they call them rumors.....but it is all about the Benjamins.......except in Champs case he was just smart enough to understand that good organizations start at the top with good management.

where do you even start with this?
First of all, what does Champ Bailey's opinion on anything have to do with Sean Taylor (what the thread is about).
You claim that you always post on-topic and in a non-biased manner... well point me to the relevance.
Second... Champ leaving was ALL about the benjamins anyway... so what are you talking about? 55 million benjamins wasn't enough... it had NOTHING to do with anything but money. You said not 48 hours ago... 'What's a guy supposed to say?' Well apply that same logic to your Champ argument... what's he gonna say? 'I'm an arrogant, money hungry bastard and I'm gonna go to the highest bidder'???
And yet... that's exactly what he did.
And if in taylor's case it is all about the benjamins... and you claim that the Redskins overspend for everything... then why wouldn't ST wanna be a Redskin using that exact same logic?
Well?
This isn't just drivel... it's mindless drivel.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Champ was all about money.
Sean will be about money.
There isn't much in the way of team loyalty nowadays... but the loyalty factor is starting to show up in Washington these days... people putting aside issues, working things out, talking about playing positions they didn't want to, excited to be working in camp...
I don't and won't believe it is anything more than a smokescreen until I actually read it from Sean's lips.
Just like P-Ram - he supposedly wanted to leave but came out and stated very baldly (after returning from vacation - where he happened to be when this story broke) that he never wanted to be traded...

just to let you know how "on target" king really is, click the link jake posted, and check out the picture of davey. it says davey has an impressive 108 QB rating with the frankfurt galaxy..... only problem is, davey plays for the berlin thunder.... if he can't get his facts straight on the pic at the top of his page, what would make one think anything else in the article is of any relevance?

Here's today's spin from ESPN.
It's just two weeks after the draft and already two high-profile players, both first-round selections, have decided to switch agents. Former Oklahoma defensive tackle Tommie Harris, the first-round choice of the Chicago Bears, has left Kennard McGuire and signed with Eugene Parker. The addition of Harris further enhances a very strong draft class for Parker and his partner, Roosevelt Barnes, of Maximum Sports Management. But getting Harris, which gives Parker and Barnes a combined four first-rounders (the most of any agents this year), might not be the end of the bounty. Miami safety Sean Taylor, the first-round choice of the Washington Redskins, has surprisingly left agent Drew Rosenhaus, and there is a chance the fifth overall pick in the draft could sign on with Parker as well. Washington officials, who have a tremendous relationship with both Rosenhaus and Parker, are quaking that Taylor might retain Carl and Kevin Poston. The brothers are notorious for their difficult negotiating style and, more pertinent to the Redskins, have a grievance against the franchise, alleging that Washington short-changed linebacker LaVar Arrington of $6.5 million in the contract extension he signed five months ago. Also rumored to be in the hunt for Taylor is the tag team of Eugene Mato and Jeff Moorad. In addition to the pair of first-rounders, disgruntled veteran Green Bay cornerback Mike McKenzie and agent Brian Parker have parted. The timing is unusual, given that McKenzie is attempting to force a trade. McKenzie has been in the league five years and, once he hires a new representative, will be working with his fifth agent.

Peter King is a tool..This guy spews more garbage than Oprah.BossHog wrote:... it's Peter King spewing rumor garbage.
This has never been reported anywhere but a Broncos message board so far as I know and it stemmed strictly from the fact that Taylor fired Drew Rosenhaus.
... it was probably Champ bailey himself just tossing one more iron on the fire
I have no proof that Taylor wants to be a Skin... I just don't think there's any that he doesn't want to either.
