I think Vinny's been fine in his first year, IMO Gibbs and Williams among others have been making the personnel decisions up until now.
He's done pretty well, except for the Jason Taylor thing, but Daniels kind of forced his hand.

But he really hasn't been on the hook since Dannyboy wasn't smart enough to name a general manager. So the only guy you can blame is Dannyboy. He wants to be like Jerry Jones in the worst way...the thing is...Jerry had Jimmy Johnson who was a great evalutor of talent. The closest thing we've had here under Dannyboy is Marty...who fired Vinny.
