Darnerien McCants Interview

---Darnerien McCants Interview on Hailredskins.com

http://hailredskins.com/FunkyTake.htm

"KS- Do you think that it will be a big controversy with Brunell and Ramsey, and if so, who do you think will win?

DM- I don’t think that it’s going to be a controversy. Everybody knows in the NFL whoever gets paid more will start, that’s just the way that it works. I like it as a receiver because you have two strong QBs. Actually, I can say three because Tim is still here too."

"KS- What exactly will your role be in the offense? Have you gotten any inclination as to exactly what you will be doing this year?

DM- Um, right now it’s looking like the third receiver, but as everyone knows, we had The Posse, so we know how that was."

"KS- Yeah, there has been a lot of talk about Gardner being traded, but it sounds like you expect him to be here..

DM- Yeah, expect him to be here."

Hmmm, so the staff tells the fans "open competition" because thats what "fans" would expect...but the players in the league KNOW how it really is. This is the first time I heard a comment from a player on the QB "competition"...well, if that really was D-Mac at that site (My BS Detector is flickering). :)

I believe that was Darnerien because he's made comments similar to that to me regarding different things the past couple years. Sounds just like him.

Wish he would come back to our site.

How could we get rid of Rod Gardner. He's our number 1 rated passer. I mean 66.7% touchdown percentage is pretty impressive!

rod gardner can't catch... so we might as well make him a QB... just kidding... i like gardner.. i might pick him up late in my fantasy draft this year... he might break out with Darnerian numbers... (a lot of td's)
See right now I'm on lettuce... Pretty soon I'll be on fries... After that.. The grill... And after that... Comes Assistant. Manager.... and That's When the Big Bucks roll in!

Man I would be hyped to see that!!!

I can see our receivers really breaking out this year with Brunell throwing the ball. He didn't have the greatest receivers with the Jags the past couple of years. Not to mention teams will be worrying about Portis!

Gardner has to learn how to catch before he can get TD's. We'll work on that with him in camp though....:-)
