Completely off subject, but this reminds me of my favorite line from Bill Parcells.
Parcells was told by his Special Teams Coach that Matt Bahr, his kicker at the time, wouldn't be able to play in the game today...Parcells responded "I didn't ask him to play, I asked him to kick".

Not that I think he is a good kicker, but he was fine until we got this new punter/holder. His kicking slump started when Placemeier (whatevr his name is) showed up.

Watch the hold. Every kick it seams like the holder still has both hands on the ball when Suisam makes contact with the ball.

A holder means a lot to a kicker.

Remember ho Lowmiller went to heck in a hand basket once Jeff Rutledge retired. He was a probowl kicker. Rutledge retires and he instantly bacme one of the worst kickers in the leaugue.

Don't confuse this post with me defending our K, but he has been much worse with this holder!

No, he is terrible and always has been. I am not sure why so many people think the guy is a good kicker. Did you see one kickoff barely made the 20 yard line. Who here did not know he was going to miss that 40+ yarder?

He sucks!
Should have gotten rid of him long before now.

   This whole Redskins vote thing is an embarrassment. The worst kicker in the NFC is the most popular fan vote.

I agree, for team with a payroll like ours we have the worse kicking game in the NFC.... Before that 43 yarder the other night he missed 3 in a row after the offense busted it's butt to get downfield... it takes a little out of the team when he misses those when the game is close... I also agree his kickoffs are really weak ....

Totally agreed. No one can complain from his previous 29/35 effort, and while in High Schoool he drilled a 58-yarder under intense pressure in the finals. It's not like he can't make big kicks.

He's also a class act. I've had the fortune of meeting him find him to be quite genuine.

The loss of Derrick Frost has hurt this team so much... But mostly Suisham.

I can understand, and even agree that losing his holder has hurt his ability to kick FG's.... but that does not explain the issue with consistently dropping his kickoffs between the 15 and the 20. You can't blame a holder for that... and you won't convince me that that is the scheme...

Okay, he's a swell guy...I got it. But, he should have been cut directly after missing that FG in the playoffs against Seattle from 20 yds out. That basically changed the entire momentum of the game and lost it for us. And don't give me "everyone deserves a mistake", he's been a marginal kicker that missed a chip shot in a clutch situation in the playoffs...cut him end of story.

I wouldn't get two ints either......... could kicking help the skins win or was this entire season a twighlite zone pre requisite for zorns big break out year I mean after all I think it was the 1940s the last time this type of stuff went on in DC and then they only played like 8 or 9 games, back then you did not have to kick ball between the up rights you had to avoid ruung into them and it pobably was not recomended that you keep the same coach two years running, kudos to syde

Please, for the love of God, use ALL punctuation, not just a comma. A little spacing would help, too. I'm forced to ignore your posts because they give me a headache if I try to decipher them.

On the subject of Suisham, I think something has to change. He's kicking the ball out of bounds it seems at least once every other game, which is unacceptable.
