And if I'd only screamed harder at the TV, Flacco would've become distracted, and tossed more INTs!

It's all our fault... Maybe if enough of us make delusional wishes this week, we'll magically become better. What do you think?

They are 1-5 when I watch them on t.v. this season. 6-1 when the cable company doesn't cover the game. I know what I should do....

Tampa 9-4
Dallas 8-5
Atlanta 8-5
Philly 7-5-1
Washington 7-6
Chicago 7-6
New Orleans 7-6

-Even though Dallas is ahead of us, we can still by pass them because they got an angry New York Giants team next week, than the Ravens, and at Philly to close it out. They might go 8-8.
-Tampa I don't see us by passing them because they have at Atlanta give or take a w or l, but they have San Diego and Oakland to finish out.
-Atlanta on the other hand has the Bucs, than at Vikings which they can possibly loose, than the rams.
-Philly has it a little bit easier they got the Browns, but we have them at home, and than they play Dallas. But if we beat them, we have the tie breaker. So thats not a huge worry, we just have to beat them.
-While the Bears have the Saints, Packers, and Texans. This can range from 3-0 to 0-3. If they win out, and we take care of business we still go over them for conference record.
No, the season is not over, looking at remaining schedules I think we pass Chicago and New Orleans. Atlanta will probably loose to Tampa so I think we will pass them. We play Philly at home so its very possible we knock them out. Dallas can very well go 0-3, there banged up offensively. But in order to do this the Redskins got to take care of business, beat Cincy, than Philly, than San Fran. San Fran and Cincy are not hard. I think we will beat Cincy, but Philly is a make or break game, if we loose that game we can piss our season down the drain.

This is really simple - From that table, if we win our last 3 we are 10-6 and in the playoffs .... as long as Dallas loses 1 game AND Atlanta loses 1 game.

Because of the tie-breakers we end up in the 6th spot over a 10-6 Dallas and a 10-6 Atlanta. Either Tampa or Carolina wins the NFC South and takes the 5th slot.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Those teams losing at least 1 game is very likely. Us winning all 3 of our games is unlikely, especially with the way Philly played last week.

I absolutely agree ...were not playing very well...but at CINCY cmon ...our def alone should win that game ...and if we do that..and dall loses and Atl
ITS IN OUR HANDS
Its doable guys! CINCY EAGLES and SF cmon were going against top dogs here
I'm down no doubt...but reality is this team will play it out to the very end..THEY ALWAYS HAVE...
And JC is due to make one two plays to restore his confidence....he made a ton in first 8..last 5 have been brutal

DONT GIVE UP GUYS...let's just beat CINCY and see were the chips fall heading into next week

Why shouldn't we give up?

It seems like they have.

I don't know what happened to the Redskins that beat the Saints, Cardinals, Cowboys, and Eagles, but they seemed to have disappeared somewhere between Philidelphia and DC when they faced St. Louis.

In those first four wins, Zorn looked like a genius. He used a lot of trickery. He was unpredictable. They ran from passing formations and threw from running formations. They went for it on fourth and short. They had a swaggar about them.

These Redskins almost always run on first down. They run right up (into but not usually through) the gut and if they take a shot down field and it fails, they never go back there again.

Of course, if they do pull off a play and it works, they never do those again either.

On any short yardage play, you know we are going to run. Hell, look at the offense line up and guess (from your couch) what play they are going to run, I'll bet you're right 70% of the time.

If you can do that from home, what do you think opposing defenses are doing on the field?

Ask me four weeks ago about their chances versus Cincy and I'd tell you the Bungles got no chance; ask me today and I'll tell you there is no way we win this game scoring less than 20 points.

This is true, but Philly doesn't play like that every week. There's also the Philly that tied the 1-11-1 Bengals. I don't know if we can pull it off, but I'll be hoping that we can end strong. I think Philly is really the only D line that we have to worry about, esp with these injuries.

Here are the 3 schedules:

Dallass = NYG; Baltimore and @ Philadelphia

Phildelphia = Cleveland; @ Redskins and Dallass

Redskins = @ Cincinatti; Philadelphia; and at San Francisco

I agree that we are not playing well but I just think that we are still getting into the playoffs - not that we are a great team or anything but it is something

The best thing would be that if we were there, even for just the first game ....

The Jerrah Jones' Cowboys and that filthy bunch from Philly will all be watching ..... again

Even IF Dallass gets in, we can count on them choking as they've always done in the playoffs.

I can't believe how quickly you guys have given up... Embarrassing. I know the team isn't great but hell, neither were the Giants last year. They wanted to get rid of Eli, fire Tom Coughlin and they won the super bowl. Stop giving up. You are all acting like losers. I'm sure this is what you all were doing in '05 and I will be right again. If you give up this easily you might as well not even start the season as a fan. Whatever.

I have faith. I believe.

For the record, people that are saying put in Collins, whatever... that is almost sensible cuz I know JC has been struggling but those of you who are calling for Colt... You're absolute morons. I'm not even going to dignify...

21 forever.
I miss you 21.

God I wish we had a second round pick.

This post is just sad. I hope to God none of the actual Redskins read this garbage. Give up, your fans gave up on you! What a fan site when you wouldn't want actual members of your team ever, much less when they have a winning record, to read posts on their own fan site. Particularly written by a guy with "staff" on his Avatar. It's bad enough when faux fans who have nothing more then Internet access write this crap.

 Who cares if they read it? Are they going to cry? That'd be even more pathetic if they let words end their season. Boo-freaking-hoo, cry me a river.

If anyones words on this site, or ES can cause them to get depressed and lose...then they deserve that loss.

Can you show me where I said it would "cause" them to lose? I said it was sad, garbage and crap. When a team is 7-6 with 3 winnable games to go 10-6 and so called "fans" are telling them they give up right then, forget playing it out, sad, garbage and crap are pretty good descriptors of what they are doing. But what is the definition of those terms that leap to "cause" to lose? What's also a pretty good descriptor is that in that situation I hope a Redskin wouldn't equate me, a Redskin fan, with people like that and think that's the support they are getting. But that still doesn't get you to "cause" them to lose. What does, I mean other then you want to mock a point not made because it's easier then addressing the one that was?
