Dude, this is just a call for shallow, self serving immediate gratification. You have to have a TEAM to "attack" the Defense. Moss is our only reliable full time receiver, we need Cooley to block too. Portis is getting absolutely POUNDED because he's already hurt and he's running into a wall of defenders daring us to throw.

We have NO OTHER OPTIONS! Hello! And our line is old, slowing and now injured as well. And you want to ATTACK NOW or FIRE THE COACH? That's just shallow, naive, uninformed tripe. The plan needs to be to build a solid O and THEN attack. Your post is so devoid of football knowledge it should be posted on ThePowderPuffGirls.net. Building an "attacking O" is like saying you want your portfolio to make money or your job to be successful. Um..no DUH. Shallow and uninsightful, and your process of attack without weapons and fire the coach for not doing it now is lame. We need to BUILD an attacking O, not start an invasion in row boats.

But... but... Kazoo, why can't you see the glaring obvious? Campbell and the ENTIRE offense would benefit immensely by having to learn a new offense... yet again, a forth new offense in five years. Continuity is waaaaaay overrated. Switching coaches all the time IS the recipe for winning championships. Even if your coach has a winning record, just fire him and bring in somebody new. It's really that simple. We've tried the continuity approach, it hasn't worked, in case you didn't notice. We need more head coaching turnover to be successful, can't you see that?!?!?

We tried being agressive in some of the first plays in the ravens game oh wait what happened again? Campbell threw a well-timed ball, but oh shucks, the line could not block him so suggs tipped it. Damn...

If I hear Zorn utter the words "if I defense would have held...", one more time I'll officially be off his bandwagon.

He has NO RIGHT to complain about this defense. He doesn't even run the entire offense, the running game is 100% Joe Gibbs... Zorn can't implement 50% of the offense decently enough where we can score more than 10 points a game and he has the audacity to COMPLAIN about our defense!?!?!

They wouldn't have to hold if you're pathetic offense could score a respectable amount of points you twit!

jeremyroyce wrote:It's not just this week, but ALL season. Our play calling sucks and that is Zorn. I agree Zorn has to go. All season long Zorn has done the same blasted thing and expecting to get a different result. The play calling is terrible and way to conservative and I'm tired of watching our defense come out week in and week out and be the only part of our team that does anything

Wow, fire a coach with a winning record in his first season as a head coach? That's an excellent idea, if you're a Cowboy fan and want us to suck. What do you think of a loser coach who took a team that went 10-6 and then 6-10 the two previous years and started his first season as a head coach ZERO and FIVE! Wow, I'd can him in a second, wouldn't you Jeremy?

Well if Zorn keeps doing what he keeps doing he ain't gonna have a winning record. There has been no adjustments, and after last night he should be embarrassed. Last night was a joke and I'm tired of watching our offense sputter every week, and I don't want to hear the excuse well we played against a great defense. What about the Rams, the Lions. Our offense sputtered in those game.

No adjustments huh? After all the Ravens blitzes in the first half last night I remember some WR and RB screens that produced great yardage, too bad that was all that we could do. An adjustment was made to start throwing screen passes to the blitz side, that seemed to work well. It was too little too late, but adjustments were made.

When you do make adjustments you can't wait until the end of the game by then it's too late. Let's take a look at couple of stats. Mike Sellers 2 rushes for 16 yards. How come we didn't use him more? Ladell Betts 3 catches for 57 yards. How come we didn't use him more out of the backfield? How come we aren't atleast taking chances down the field? Why aren't we doing any reverses with Randle El, or Thomas. How about a half back option or WR option. How about rolling Campbell out to the right or left and hitting Cooley. How maybe using a few plays from the Wild Cat offense. These are just a few plays but its more of an imagination then what Zorn has come up with all year long.

We can't use Sellers as a runner more. If we did, Sellers might run for a 1000 yds and everyone would find out what unbelievable twits the coaches have been for years now.

You guys remember the conspiracy theories when we first hired Zorn? A lot of us thought it would be a short term deal and hopefully by than we'd be able to get Cower. I'm not advacating that at all but could this be a possibility maybe next year if things don't get better?

Thankfully, the thought of getting Cowher here is just as stupid an idea as most of the posts in this thread - I know that everyone is disapointed but there are some unbelievable posts in these pages  Did I say pages? Just amazing!
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

New to the board, greetings all.

Surely Zorn is the victim of his early success here? Our record right now is pretty good considering the talent on the field - we got big ideas after the wins in D**las and Philly, but we just don't have the depth or the quality to live with the elite teams right now. I'm not convinced that Zorn will ever be a great coach, but he's done OK so far, and if there's one thing the Skins desperately need, it's continuity.

Welcome...and well said. The bottom line is that coaching in the NFL is a very tough business and you don't just go hire Vince Lombardi. On the other hand not sticking with a coach who's as you accurately put it "done OK so far" is in fact a predictable formula. One that would have had Gibbs out of here is first season too.

When we are winning its cool when we lose its we don't know how to read him. In NY Coughlin was militant when losing now he's great!

It simple it's about winning...I think owners pull the plug way to fast on coaches...Dan Snyder said this was his guy now back it up and allow him to coach out his contract!

Haha whats up DeHog,

Winning cures all that for sure.

Coughlin has a GM, coordinator who knows the offense and a offensive line that hasn't been plagued with injuries.

You add in all our problems, plus we aren't winning, plus a coach who speaks freely about players to the media, plus a offensive coordinator who doesn't know the WCO, plus Danny, plus Vinney and you have the ingredients to the 2008 Washington Redskins.

I would HOPE that Jim Zorn has EARNED some confidence but I will NEVER, EVER trust the Danny on ANYTHING.

Welcome to Washington DC Mr. Zorn. It is fun to have you here.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
