I'm officially in the bench Campbell camp. We are not going to the playoffs, so why not give Colt a try.

If the Skins were 7-6, but playing better, no, but the way we are playing I do.

We're going to finish below .500.

Think we can't beat Cin and SF?

Think we can put up more than 10 points against them?

I think we can beat 1 of 'em. 1/3 gives us .500, which is still acceptable for a 1st year yead coach IMO.

IA, I don't think Zorn should lose the job at all or be fired for a .500 team

Even if by some sort of miracle we still get in the playoffs, I don't think we deserve to be in there.

We still have a shot. If Dallas loses to the NYG nest week and the Bucs beat the Falcons, then we are back in the hunt.

I'm curious about the no-fumble call ... only to understand the rule not like it would give the Redskins any shot at a W.

I agree that .500 is acceptable for a rookie HC. But they way we've lost these games is not acceptable. How far we've fallen is not acceptable. Saying that it's acceptable IMO is people trying to find ANYTHING positive to grab a hold onto. This is NOT acceptable....

Countertrey wrote:Can someone explain why that wasn't considered a fumble by Reed? He was not down by contact. The only player who can give himself up by sliding is the QB. When he slid, and held the ball up, that should have still been a live play until he was touched by a Redskin. Randal El plucked the ball from his hand. Why was that not a change of possession?

At least 3 out of those 4 are going to the playoffs. They're tough teams.

I agree they are tough teams, but what bothers me is the way we lost. With mostly the same players under Gibbs, this team would have kept it close. They would have played with heart. This version has none.

My children, gather round! No retreat, no surrender; that is Spartan law. And by Spartan law we will stand and fight... and die. A new age has begun. An age of freedom, and all will know, that 300 Spartans gave their last breaths to defend it!

The Battle of the Beltway turned out to be a slaughter, kind of like Little Big Horn.
Only this time the Indians lost.
