will Gibbs be able to give a good game plan vs the Pats?

Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

Yeah, i am sure he will in a couple years when the Redskins actually play the Pats.

We played the Pats last season and they are in the AFC...it goes in rotation.

We do not play the Pats in 2004, and probably wont for 2-3 years.

BUT, if it is in the 2004 SuperBowl...i will bet on Gibbs!

Well we handled 'em last year in week 4! In fact we're the last team to beat them. This is the NFL, anything can happen! I say bring 'em on. In 2002 they didn't even make the playoffs after winning the Superbowl the year before. Although they are very, very good, they are not invincable.

That would be a great machup. One of the best offensive minds ever versus one of the best defensive minds ever. That would be sweet...

Uh...to make my first answer complete...

Steve Spurrier was THE LAST COACH TO BEAT THE PATRIOTS IN 2003 ... The Pats went undefeated after the Redskins beat them last season.

So, if Spurrier can beat the Pats...then HELLZ GHEA Gibbs can!!!!

Spurrier beat the Patriots in 2003 because the Patriots were without like 7 to 8 of there key players. I don't think we would have won if they were healthy.

The new Patriots vs. the new Redskins?

Redskins win hands down! Gibbs game planning and work ethics are all over the news right now. He'll have us ready to beat any team week in and week out. It's up to the player's to execute.

They didnt have that many injuries when we played them. Those injuries came late. This why the talking heads were saying that, with the injuries they are still on a winnung streak so late in the season.

We also played them before teams realized all they had to do was blitz every down to beat us. I rib my Patriot fans about it, but make no mistake, we were no match for the Pats last year...
