Lets just hope they are playing well enough that they could be considered for something like this!

I like them but I say they have to earn a nickname first.
The opinion of 10,000 men is of no value if none of them know anything about the subject.

Of this list, I prefer DeCleaters. Of course, we could call them the DEA, cause we are gonna take some Cowboys out.

"Seven Deadly Spears", nice.

I'd need a nickname that had a saying to go with it--we used to shout "Believe in Stephen" and "Have Faith in the Five!" back in the day (Davis and 5 particular defense players were the origin of those ones).

Something like "Let's see the seven!", except much better than that hopefully. . .

I actually really like Smooty and the Blowfish. The Times Article read that he has really stepped up as a leader and I do think that this is his back 7. Snap, Crackle and Pop is really good too. We should send these into ESPN and See what Chris Berman think about them.

No, I got you, JH. I put that in before that darned pot-stirrin' Wysocki came up with "Smooty and the Blowfish".
That's my new fave, especially if we keep Iffy.
That would truly "blow". :)

I can see the out-of-town sports pages having a field day with the nickname Smooty and the Blowfish should they have a bad game (pick one)...Smooty and the Blowfish: 'They Blow'; or 'One Hit Wonders'; or 'Out of Tune' or 'Over the Hill'. But looking back at the other nicknames suggested I guess the same can be done for them too...being positive I'll take: Smooty and the Blowfish: 'Making Sweet Music' or '7 Hit Wonders', etc.
