It's not cool to wish injury on other players. A simple win would suffice imo.

I didn't wish anything on anybody. And clearly I was kidding around either way. Give me a freaking break.

The She-Squawks are going down in a flaming ball of misery! We are going to go to Seattle, get some coffee, smack around the She-Squawks, and be on our way.

I thought that the last two times we played and it did not turn nearly as well as I hoped. I will be happy to get out of there with a win and some signs of life from the passing game.

The only way Hasselbeck gets to IR is if he is injured during warm ups. We haven't even sniffed of a QB in ???

Not to be pessimistic, but the past two games that we've had to play at QWest Stadium, we haven't fared so well...

Playoffs 2007 - Seahawks 35 Redskins 14
Playoffs 2005 - Seahawks 20 Redskins 10

When we play Seattle at home we kick butt:

We are 3-0 at home vs. them dating back to 2001.

Those are some of the most wins at home for us.
Remember, we have no homefield advantage in Fed Ex.
Since we've lost two in a row at home, it just may be time to beat someone on the road. However, we've had no luck at Quest field.
But maybe, with Zorn on OUR sideline this time, we can eek out a 6-3 win!

I think it will be a pretty good game. I never pick my 'Hawks to win, but I will say this. The 'Skins haven't done well lately as the favorites. I do think they will be the favorites, but I don't see us pulling it off. Anyways it will be a nice homecoming for Jim Zorn, Stump Mitchell, Shaun Alexander and Ryan Plackemier. Come on over to the Spot and talk it up during the game!

Can't look past the Seahawks this week and be complacent. Still gotta play a full 60, and get the passing game back in order.

If the 'Skins stumble this week, it'll be dire.

Yea man, I don't wanna say crap about it. Last year I said we'd get our revenge and then got our tails handed to us.

Its gonna be a good game though, Seattle fans are pretty intense too.

I have great respect for Holgrem, but Seattle is having a down year. The Seahawks are just what the Skins need right now.... We owe them couple playoff loses.... Hopefully it's payback time....

This will be a close game. Probably a field goal decides it.

With the Skins struggling on offense and Seattle's inability to move the ball, it will come down to who runs the best.

Obviously the biggest concern will be Seattle's pass rush, which has destroyed us at Qwest Field. I would emphasize the run to counter that, even if it's slow to pich up at the beggining.

There's a good chance he will get either stepped on by a linemen or while back peddling ...trip over his own foot and sprain a toe causing him to sit out cause he can't plant his foot and throw the ball.

Prior to the Dallas game I was nervous simply cause we usually will win one game against a division opponent and lose the next time we play them. Secondly ....Homo was back. and we lost.

The Pitt game was supposed to be a tough game but we were supposed to win it. or so many said. I was nervouse about that game as well. Funny both night games. lol.

I know we play terrible in Seattle but I'm getting the warm fuzzy feeling about this game. Maybe it's cause they suck. lol. Their best WR's are out, they have no RB and they have been playing terrible ball.

I just hope this is the week we get ahead far enough to put in both rookie WR and let them get a feel for the ball and let JC get used to them. Lets get our passing game on page this week.

Not that I don't like him anymore, but he's made the trip to Seattle before as an opposing team player. Plus there is bittersweet memories of Springs. Yes he did a lot for us, but he held out for more money. Was suspended for Steriod Policy violation and evern bad mouthed the organization after he left us. So no feelings of his home coming.

Kerney's out, too, isn't he?

Seahawks placed DE Patrick Kerney (shoulder) on injured reserve, ending his season.

After a Defensive POY-caliber first year in Seattle, Kerney finishes with five sacks in seven games. His shoulder woes have become chronic and are a long-term concern for the 31-year-old, but Kerney is sure to be back in 2009 despite being owed $7 million in salary and bonuses. Rookie DE Lawrence Jackson has come along slowly and Darryl Tapp is a liability against the run.

I may be a little off, but I seem to recall both those Seahawk teams as being fairly good teams that we hoped to beat and were certainly not favored to
There also might have been a few different players on their sideline and ours this time that might factor into this game

I'm fairly sure that luck will not have anything to do with either team's game this w/e - "any given Sunday" but I think our guys can make this a nice return for Zorn

we are a lot better team than they are this year and just need to play decent football
this Seahawks team is just not playing the team defense that we are used to seeing and now Kerney is on IR
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I will say that it is really a shame that Holmgren is having a year like this - this guy has had an incredible career and he's really added a lot to both the game and to both a lot of players' and coaches' careers

thanks Mike, this Buds for you

I think we're headed in the right direction and that we'll win, but I'm not confident enough to trash talk ANYONE yet. The Hawks are down, but you're particularly a tough team to play on your turf as we recently saw. We "heard" nothing, just saw them lose, a big part of the problem we need to overcome.
