El, Moss, and Thomas each had key drops that led to killed drives. Campbell looked a lot better than he did against Pitt but he did make one bad decision and could have been quicker with the ball. The offensive line can't block the Nosetackle and that doesn't help things. The only huge problem i saw with playcalling is that not enough runs were called, but obviously we were limited personnel-wise in that department. Basically the first drive resulted in a td because of portis. He is basically the entire offense right now and it will be hard to win when he is not 100%

totally agree with you but if I'm correct one of the ones to Thomas was going to be short anyway, meaning he would not have gotten the first down. It seems recently Zorn is calling plays either hoping or expecting the WR to get yards after the catch instead of calling play that will put the WR or TE in a position to catch the ball beyond the first down marker especially on the 3rd downs where we need to get 7-15 yrds.

In all fairness, many, and I mean a very large percentage, of our 3rd down conversions this year have been passes thrown beyond the 1st down marker. However, receivers getting yards after the catch IS a staple of a WC system and is why the system incorporates more short to midrange passes.

Throwing 5 yards when you need 9 still isn't the safest way to get the 1st down. I don't care what type of offense that you run. Calling your plays to facilitate YAC is nice, but when you depend on it, it's a different story.

Jason Campbell is terrible and should be benched tomorrow. It's funny that people want to blame the O-line but the same line is sure making holes for Clinton

The O line is the problem with JC. Yes, they do a pretty good job run blocking from time to time, but they don't pass block worth a crap, and as we all know, NO QB is gonna be any good when he's under a constant pass rush. If you've notice during the rare occassions JC does get time to throw, his passes are usually right on the money. Whether they're caught or not, well, that's another story.

You can stack the box if you never go down field....

And you can't go down field if the O line doesn't pass block.

ALL QBs suck without protection. Replacing JC with TC is putting a band aid on a severed limb. Bottom line; JC isn't the problem, the O line is.

Yea I agree, "the fourth & 4 " call in the Dallas game was a definate candidate for Chirs Carter & K. Johnson's "Come on Man".....

Not so sure about that. Campbell said he decided to tuck and run through a hole that opened up instead of throwing it, and at the last second, it closed and he had to chuck it up. The problem on that play, in my opinion, was that he hesitated. Go back and watch the play and you'll see what I'm talking about.

the team seemed to look a little down at times and may have executed better in tight situation because of a lack of down field passing and cambells foot work will improve. how does shot gun formation sound??????
D-fense and special teams can be counted on and I say the redskins offense steps up to make some major improvements verses the seahawks. REDSKINS win 27 to 17
