Eagles in OT against Bengals
Definitely didn't expect the Eagles to struggle today. Go Bengals!

I have to say that I was wrong about this team - they are nowhere near the team we all saw earlier this season. This team is one of the bottom 5 in the NFC right now.
The smiling faces of both the coach and the QB shows that they knew they should have lost to a 1 win team
- these guys will be lucky to be 8-8 and could be 7-9 very easily.
I watched a lot of this game and the bungles had almost no threat of a running game and terrible play by both their star wideouts
That the eagles could do no better than tie this team this week speaks volumes. This bungles team was not a shadow of the team that played the giants or the pukes - this was a pathetic game by the eagles

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I agree that the Eagles looked bad for basically the entire game. McNabb completed only 28 of 58 passes and threw 3 INTs, plus he lost a fumble.
Houshmandzadeh, though, had a great game for the Bengals: 12 catches, 149 yards, 1 TD. Chad Johnson, 4 catches for 34 yards, was basically blanketed the entire game by Asante Samuel.
Neither team could really get anything going, and it's a shame that Graham missed that 47-yarder at the end. A tie to the Bengals is bad enough for the Eagles, but losing in the final seconds in overtime would have been much better (for the Redskins).

The fact remains that the eagles looked bad. The fact that the bengals got any yards in the air or on the ground was not due to anything that approached decent play by anyone on the bengals but was due more to the terrible play by the eagles defensively.
this eagles team is hopeless

Actually, a tie is just about the same as a loss in this situation. They remain one game back in the win column.

The Falcons' loss helped us out too.
