The Raiders are now in need of a good corner, right?
With the wise ole' Al Davis making such sound business decisions as of late, perhaps we could trade DeAngelo Hall to the Raiders for Darren McFadden.
What? He'd probably go for it...

We dont need LB's in JC's face all night again this week.
I agree with you %100. I know we did have a backup FB on the roster, I don't know if we still do. But we all know what Sellers can do.
Brandon Jacobs ran all over Dallas, so can Sellers. Sellers is almost as agile and as fast as Jacobs.
Its simple, you have him line up at TE, then move to Single back, snap the ball, and punch Dallas in mouth on the first play of the game.
Just use him in the first half of the first quarter and see what happens. Then hit them with Sellers again in the second half.

This just keeps getting worse.

Portis has sprained MCL
Ryan O'Halloran, of The Washington Times, reports Washington Redskins RB Clinton Portis (knee) sustained a second-degree sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his right knee during the team's Week 9 loss. Portis said he "can't straighten" his knee out, but he is hopeful of playing this season. Head coach Jim Zorn said there is a 75% chance that Portis is done for the year.

I went to the Washington Times and could not find this information. Is there a link?

Assuming it's true, I've not seen it anywhere else, I have seen speculation that he could miss up to a month, however, which is not uncommon with his type of injury.
Nov 12 Ryan O'Halloran, of The Washington Times, reports Washington Redskins RB Clinton Portis (knee) sustained a second-degree sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his right knee during the team's Week 9 loss. Portis said he "can't straighten" his knee out, but he is hopeful of playing this week. Head coach Jim Zorn said there is a "50-50" chance Portis plays in Week 11. A second-degree sprain of the MCL is an incomplete tear and could require a recovery time of three to four weeks.

i for one cant wait to see if hes up to the challenge. it will be invigorating if he is. i am excited to see if our team is championship quality. the kind of team that can fight through adversity.
can we overcome an injury to one player? yes and here is why. our D is finally all healthy plus we have a new probowl man in the secondary. dallas has a crappy O line and we have carter and the best lineman to ever dance on national television. we have a killer secondary (4 first round draft picks) and a qb who is having a career season.
i think the cowgirls are going to be over confident and we are going to play hard core D, ie multiple turnovers, and a west cost O with surprising play from alexander.
No more negative talk!!
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!!

If Betts can come back healthy and hold onto the ball, then I can easily see us going 4-3. I think we'll beat the Seahawks, 49ers, Bengals. So that leaves us with the Giants, Ravens, Cowboys, and the Eagles to get 1 win over.
I don't think that Romo is fully ready to play and hopefully that shows in Sunday's game. I see him throwing a couple of picks. Our pass rush has actually been better without J-Taylor the past 2 weeks, so may be we can get to Mr. Romo and make him make some mistakes.
I think the Giants are real good, but they are beatable...the Browns proved that.
I think the Eagles are better than their record, but they are 0-3 vs. the NFC East and if they don't pull it together fast, they'll be eating scraps at the bottom of the pile with the Cowboys. Brian Westbrook isn't 100% and is averaging less than 4 yards a carry (his worst total in his career)
The Ravens are sneaky good and have put up big numbers in the past 4 weeks, but look who they played...Dolphins, Raiders, Browns, and the Texans. If they can put up a strong effort against the NY Giants, then I might consider them a playoff contender.
After looking at our schedule in the last games. Here's how I see it:
Cowboys - Win
Seahawks - Win
Giants - Loss
Ravens - Win
Bengals - Win
Eagles - Loss
49ers - Win
So that's 5-2 with a overall record of 11-5. I know that it's easy to sit here on my bed and pick easy games and hard games, but I really think we can make the playoffs and go deep without Portis.
Hopefully, Portis will take off the next 2-3 weeks and be ready for the playoff push. I think a 80-90% Betts can help the Skins maintain a decent running game. At least enough to keep the D off of Campbell's back. I like the idea that some of you are saying about giving the ball to Mike Sellers some. He really hasn't been used at all, despite constantly asking Zorn.
I really just hope that Jason Taylor smashes Romo's hand.

That said we need 11 wins to get in the playoffs - not because of the Eagles but the damn NFC Redneck. Those teams are good. If CP is out 11 wins will be tough. Couple that with the mediocre play of the last few weeks and there is reason for concern. No matter what happens this season has been more exciting than I could have hoped for.

Um, you do know that two teams in the NFC East would be considered part of the South right? The Skins and the Cowboys. In fact, MANY people in the South used to root for the Skins before the Falcons and the Panthers. So, in reality, the NFC East is nothing more than the NFC "Redneck" light. You root for a redneck team. Get over it.
